وَاِذَا حُشِرَ النَّاسُ كَانُوْا لَهُمْ اَعْدَاۤءً وَّكَانُوْا بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ كٰفِرِيْنَ ( الأحقاف: ٦ )
And when are gathered
وَإِذَا حُشِرَ
எழுப்பப்படும் போது
the people
ٱلنَّاسُ
மக்கள்
they will be
كَانُوا۟
ஆகிவிடுவார்கள்
for them
لَهُمْ
அவர்களுக்கு
enemies
أَعْدَآءً
எதிரிகளாக
and they will be
وَكَانُوا۟
இன்னும் ஆகிவிடுவார்கள்
of their worship
بِعِبَادَتِهِمْ
அவர்கள் தங்களை வணங்கியதை
deniers
كَٰفِرِينَ
மறுப்பவர்களாக
Wa izaa hushiran naasu kaanoo lahum a'daaa'anw wa kaanoo bi'ibaadatihim kaafireen (al-ʾAḥq̈āf 46:6)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
தவிர, மனிதர்களை (உயிர்கொடுத்து) எழுப்பப்படும் சமயத்தில், அவை இவர்களுக்கு எதிரிகளாகி, இவர்கள் (தங்களை) வணங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார்கள் என்பதையும் (அவைகள்) நிராகரித்துவிடும்.
English Sahih:
And when the people are gathered [that Day], they [who were invoked] will be enemies to them, and they will be deniers of their worship. ([46] Al-Ahqaf : 6)
