كَمَثَلِ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَرِيْبًا ذَاقُوْا وَبَالَ اَمْرِهِمْۚ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌۚ ( الحشر: ١٥ )
Like (the) example
كَمَثَلِ
உதாரணத்தைப் போன்றுதான்
(of) those
ٱلَّذِينَ
எவர்கள்
from before them
مِن قَبْلِهِمْ
இவர்களுக்கு முன்னர்
shortly
قَرِيبًاۖ
சற்று
they tasted
ذَاقُوا۟
அனுபவித்தார்களே
(the) evil result
وَبَالَ
கெடுதியை
(of) their affair
أَمْرِهِمْ
தங்கள் காரியத்தின்
and for them
وَلَهُمْ
இன்னும் இவர்களுக்கு உண்டு
(is) a punishment
عَذَابٌ
தண்டனை
painful
أَلِيمٌ
வலி தரக்கூடியது
Kamasalil lazeena min qablihim qareeban zaaqoo wabaala amrihim wa lahum 'azaabun aleem (al-Ḥašr 59:15)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
(இவர்களுக்கு உதாரணமாவது:) இவர்களுக்குச் சிறிது காலத்திற்கு முன்னர் தங்களுடைய கெட்ட செயல்களின் பலனை (பத்ரு யுத்தத்தில்) அனுபவித்தவர்களின் உதாரணத்தை ஒத்திருக்கின்றது. (மறுமையில்) இவர்களுக்குத் துன்புறுத்தும் வேதனையுண்டு.
English Sahih:
[Theirs is] like the example of those shortly before them: they tasted the bad consequence of their affair, and they will have a painful punishment. ([59] Al-Hashr : 15)
