اَوَاَمِنَ اَهْلُ الْقُرٰٓى اَنْ يَّأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا ضُحًى وَّهُمْ يَلْعَبُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ٩٨ )
Or felt secure
أَوَأَمِنَ
?/அச்சமற்றார்(கள்)
(the) people (of) the cities
أَهْلُ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ
ஊர்வாசிகள்
that comes to them
أَن يَأْتِيَهُم
வருவதை/அவர்களுக்கு
Our punishment
بَأْسُنَا
நம் வேதனை
(in) daylight
ضُحًى
முற்பகலில்
while they (were) playing?
وَهُمْ يَلْعَبُونَ
அவர்கள் விளையாடும்போது
Awa amina ahlul quraaa ai yaatiyahum baasunaa duhanw wa hum yal'aboon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:98)

அல்லது இவ்வூரார் (கவலையற்று) பகலில் விளையாடிக் கொண்டு இருக்கும்போதே நம்முடைய வேதனை அவர்களை வந்தடையாது என்று அவர்கள் அச்சமற்று இருக்கின்றனரா?
English Sahih:
Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play? ([7] Al-A'raf : 98)
