وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَاَنْتَ فِيْهِمْۚ وَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ مُعَذِّبَهُمْ وَهُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُوْنَ ( الأنفال: ٣٣ )
But not
وَمَا
oysa
is
كَانَ
değildi
(for) Allah
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
that He punishes them
لِيُعَذِّبَهُمْ
onlara azab edecek
while you
وَأَنتَ
ve sen
(are) among them
فِيهِمْۚ
onların içinde bulundukça
and not
وَمَا
ve
is
كَانَ
değildi
Allah
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
the One Who punishes them
مُعَذِّبَهُمْ
onlara azab edecek
while they
وَهُمْ
ve onlar
seek forgiveness
يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ
istiğfar ederlerken
vemâ kâne-llâhü liyü`aẕẕibehüm veente fîhim. vemâ kâne-llâhü mü`aẕẕibehüm vehüm yestagfirûn. (al-ʾAnfāl 8:33)
Diyanet Isleri:
Oysa, sen içlerinde iken Allah onlara azabetmez. Onlar bağışlanma dilerlerken de elbette Allah azab edecek değildir.
English Sahih:
But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness. ([8] Al-Anfal : 33)
