يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا كُتِبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْقِصَاصُ فِى الْقَتْلٰىۗ اَلْحُرُّ بِالْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدُ بِالْعَبْدِ وَالْاُنْثٰى بِالْاُنْثٰىۗ فَمَنْ عُفِيَ لَهٗ مِنْ اَخِيْهِ شَيْءٌ فَاتِّبَاعٌ ۢبِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَاَدَاۤءٌ اِلَيْهِ بِاِحْسَانٍ ۗ ذٰلِكَ تَخْفِيْفٌ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ ۗفَمَنِ اعْتَدٰى بَعْدَ ذٰلِكَ فَلَهٗ عَذَابٌ اَلِيْمٌ   ( البقرة: ١٧٨ )

Prescribed

ʿalaykumu
عَلَيْكُمُ
for you
你们|在
l-qiṣāṣu
ٱلْقِصَاصُ
(is) the legal retribution
报偿
فِى
in
l-qatlā
ٱلْقَتْلَىۖ
(the matter of) the murdered
谋杀
l-ḥuru
ٱلْحُرُّ
the freeman
公民
bil-ḥuri
بِٱلْحُرِّ
for the freeman
公民|对
wal-ʿabdu
وَٱلْعَبْدُ
and the slave
奴隶|和
bil-ʿabdi
بِٱلْعَبْدِ
for the slave
奴隶|对
wal-unthā
وَٱلْأُنثَىٰ
and the female
妇女|和
bil-unthā
بِٱلْأُنثَىٰۚ
for the female
妇女|对
faman
فَمَنْ
But whoever
谁(凶手)|因此
ʿufiya
عُفِىَ
is pardoned
它被宽恕
lahu
لَهُۥ
[for it]
他(凶手)|对
min
مِنْ
from
akhīhi
أَخِيهِ
his brother
他的|兄弟
shayon
شَىْءٌ
anything
一事(血钱)
fa-ittibāʿun
فَٱتِّبَاعٌۢ
then follows up
提出|因此
bil-maʿrūfi
بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ
with suitable
按照往例|以
wa-adāon
وَأَدَآءٌ
[and] payment
做成赔偿|和
ilayhi
إِلَيْهِ
to him
他|至
bi-iḥ'sānin
بِإِحْسَٰنٍۗ
with kindness
好的礼节|以
dhālika
ذَٰلِكَ
That (is)
那是
takhfīfun
تَخْفِيفٌ
a concession
减轻
min
مِّن
from
rabbikum
رَّبِّكُمْ
your Lord
你们的|养主
waraḥmatun
وَرَحْمَةٌۗ
and mercy
慈恩|和
famani
فَمَنِ
Then whoever
谁|和
iʿ'tadā
ٱعْتَدَىٰ
transgresses
他过份
baʿda
بَعْدَ
after
之后
dhālika
ذَٰلِكَ
that
那个的
falahu
فَلَهُۥ
then for him
他|为|然后
ʿadhābun
عَذَابٌ
(is) a punishment
刑罚
alīmun
أَلِيمٌ
painful
痛苦的

Yaaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo kutiba alaikumul qisaasu fil qatlaa alhurru bilhurri wal'abdu bil'abdi wal unsaa bil unsaa; faman 'ufiya lahoo min akheehi shai'un fattibaa'um bilma'roofi wa adaaa'un ilaihi bi ihsaan; zaalika takhfeefum mir rahbikum wa rahmah; famani' tadaa ba'da zaalika falahoo 'azaabun aleem (al-Baq̈arah 2:178)

English Sahih:

O you who have believed, prescribed for you is legal retribution for those murdered – the free for the free, the slave for the slave, and the female for the female. But whoever overlooks from his brother [i.e., the killer] anything, then there should be a suitable follow-up and payment to him [i.e., the deceased's heir or legal representative] with good conduct. This is an alleviation from your Lord and a mercy. But whoever transgresses after that will have a painful punishment. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 178)

Ma Jian (Simplified):

信道的人们啊!今以杀人者抵罪为你们的定制,公民抵偿公民,奴隶抵偿奴隶,妇女抵偿妇女。如果尸亲有所宽赦,那么,一方应依例提出要求,一方应依礼给予赔偿,这是你们的主所降示的减轻和慈恩。事后过分的人,将受痛苦的刑罚。 (黄牛 [2] : 178)

1 Mokhtasar Chinese

信仰真主、追随其使者的信士啊!今已为你们制定出故意或无意杀人抵罪的教律,即自由人抵偿自由人,奴隶抵偿奴隶,妇女抵偿妇女。如果被杀者在临死之前宽赦或其监护人宽赦并接受赎金——凶手得到宽赦应给付被害人一方一笔钱财。对于被杀者一方应按照常规提出合理的赎金,而杀人方应及时并妥善的依礼給予赔偿。这种给予宽赦和接受补偿的方式,是真主对你们痛苦的减轻和对该民族的仁慈。在宽赦和接受赎金之后,谁若再有意伤害凶手,那么他将受到真主严厉的刑罚。
