فَمَا زَالَتْ تِّلْكَ دَعْوٰىهُمْ حَتّٰى جَعَلْنٰهُمْ حَصِيْدًا خَامِدِيْنَ ( الأنبياء: ١٥ )
Then not
فَمَا
So nicht
ceased
زَالَت
hörte auf
[this]
تِّلْكَ
dieser
their cry
دَعْوَىٰهُمْ
ihr Ausruf,
until
حَتَّىٰ
bis
We made them
جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ
wir sie machten
reaped
حَصِيدًا
abgemäht,
extinct
خَٰمِدِينَ
ausgelöscht.
Famā Zālat Tilka Da`wāhum Ĥattaá Ja`alnāhum Ĥaşīdāan Khāmidīna. (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:15)
A. S. F. Bubenheim and N. Elyas:
So war dies stets ihr Ausruf, bis Wir sie (wie) abgemäht und ausgelöscht sein ließen. ([21] al-Anbiya (Die Propheten) : 15)
English Sahih:
And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire]. ([21] Al-Anbya : 15)
