يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَدْخُلُوْا بُيُوْتًا غَيْرَ بُيُوْتِكُمْ حَتّٰى تَسْتَأْنِسُوْا وَتُسَلِّمُوْا عَلٰٓى اَهْلِهَاۗ ذٰلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُوْنَ ( النور: ٢٧ )
Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-Ladhīna 'Āmanū Lā Tadkhulū Buyūtāan Ghayra Buyūtikum Ĥattaá Tasta'nisū Wa Tusallimū `Alaá 'Ahlihā Dhālikum Khayrun Lakum La`allakum Tadhakkarūna. (an-Nūr 24:27)

O die ihr glaubt, betretet nicht andere Häuser, die nicht eure (eigenen) Häuser sind, bis ihr euch bemerkbar gemacht und ihre Bewohner begrüßt habt. Das ist besser für euch, auf daß ihr bedenken möget! ([24] an-Nur (Das Licht) : 27)
English Sahih:
O you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants. That is best for you; perhaps you will be reminded [i.e., advised]. ([24] An-Nur : 27)
