اِنَّ هٰذَآ اَخِيْ ۗ لَهٗ تِسْعٌ وَّتِسْعُوْنَ نَعْجَةً وَّلِيَ نَعْجَةٌ وَّاحِدَةٌ ۗفَقَالَ اَكْفِلْنِيْهَا وَعَزَّنِيْ فِى الْخِطَابِ ( ص: ٢٣ )
Indeed
إِنَّ
Wahrlich,
this
هَٰذَآ
dieser
(is) my brother
أَخِى
(ist) mein Bruder
he has
لَهُۥ
für ihn
ninety-nine
تِسْعٌ
(gibt es) neun
ninety-nine
وَتِسْعُونَ
und neunzig
ewe(s)
نَعْجَةً
weibliche Schafe,
while I have
وَلِىَ
während für mich
ewe
نَعْجَةٌ
(es gibt) weibliches Schaf.
one
وَٰحِدَةٌ
ein
so he said
فَقَالَ
Dann sagte er;
"Entrust her to me"
أَكْفِلْنِيهَا
"Vertraue es mir an"
and he overpowered me
وَعَزَّنِى
und er überwand mich
in
فِى
in
[the] speech"
ٱلْخِطَابِ
der Rede."
'Inna Hādhā 'Akhī Lahu Tis`un Wa Tis`ūna Na`jatan Wa Liya Na`jatun Wāĥidatun Faqāla 'Akfilnīhā Wa `Azzanī Fī Al-Khiţābi. (Ṣād 38:23)

Dieser da, mein Bruder, hat neunundneunzig weibliche Schafe, ich aber (nur) ein einziges Schaf. Dann sagte er; .Vertraue es mir an', und er überwand mich in der Rede." ([38] Sad : 23)
English Sahih:
Indeed this, my brother, has ninety-nine ewes, and I have one ewe; so he said, 'Entrust her to me,' and he overpowered me in speech." ([38] Sad : 23)
