Yunus Verse 62

There will certainly be no fear for the close servants of Allah, nor will they grieve.

Indeed, the allies of Allah will have no fear, nor will they grieve.

Surely God's friends -- no fear shall be on them, neither shall they sorrow.

But for those who are on God’s side there is no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Lo! verily the friends of Allah! no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve.

Behold! verily on the friends of Allah there is no fear, nor shall they grieve;

Oh, surely the friends of Allah have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve -

Remember, there is neither fear nor regret for the friends of God.

Pay heed! Indeed upon the friends of Allah is neither any fear, nor any grief. (The friends of Allah are the best in the creation.)

Look! The friends of Allah will indeed have no fear nor will they grieve

Know well that the friends (saintly servants) of God – they will have no fear (both in this world and the next, for they will always find My help and support with them), nor will they grieve.

Behold! the friends of Allâh, neither fear shall overwhelm them, nor shall they (ever) remain in grief.

Is it not that God`s patrons/followers (that there is) no fear/fright on them, and nor they be sad/grieving?

Pay heed! Indeed upon the friends of Allah is neither any fear, nor any grief. (The friends of Allah are the best in the creation.)

Thee (Muhammad) are not occupied with any business, nor recite you a lecture from this Scripture, and you (mankind) perform no act, but We are Witness when you are engaged therein: nor does the weight of an atom escape your Lord in the earth or in heaven; nor is there less or greater than that, but it is written in the Perspicuous Book.

No doubt! Verily, the Auliya' of Allah [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of Allah and fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which he has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve,

And thou art not (engaged) in any affair and thou recitest not concerning it any portion of the Qur’an, and you do no work, but We are Witness of you when you are engaged therein. And not the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven is hidden from thy Lord, nor anything less than that nor greater, but it is (all) in a clear book.

Now surely the friends of Allah-- they shall have no fear nor shall they grieve.

Lo! verily the friends of Allah are (those) on whom fear (cometh) not, nor do they grieve?

The friends of God will certainly have nothing to fear, nor will they be grieved.

Indeed, there shall be neither fear nor sorrow upon the guided by Allah.

Behold! The Awliya' of Allah, no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve.

Those who are close to God shall certainly have no fear, nor shall they grieve.

Unquestionably, God’s friends have nothing to fear, nor shall they grieve.

Assuredly God's friends, no fear shall befall them, neither shall they grieve, in the Hereafter.

Identifying the Awliya' of Allah

Allah tells;

أَلا إِنَّ أَوْلِيَاء اللّهِ


Behold! The Awliya' of Allah,

Allah tells us that His Awliya' (friends and allies) are those who believe and have Taqwa of Allah as He defined them. Every pious, God-fearing person is a friend of Allah, therefore,

لَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ

no fear shall come upon them,

from the future horrors they will face in the Hereafter.

وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ



nor shall they grieve.

over anything left behind in this world.
