Hud Verse 75

Truly, Abraham was forbearing, tender-hearted, and ever turning ˹to his Lord˺.

Abraham was indeed forbearing, tenderhearted, and constantly returning in repentance.

Abraham was clement, compassionate, penitent.

for Abraham was forbearing, tender-hearted, and devout.

Verily Ibrahim was forbearing, long-suffering, penitent.

For Abraham was, without doubt, forbearing (of faults), compassionate, and given to look to Allah.

Surely Abraham was forbearing, tenderhearted and oft-turning to Allah.

Abraham was kind, compassionate, and penitent.

Indeed Ibrahim is most forbearing, very soft hearted, penitent.

Abraham was indeed most forbearing, plaintive, [and] penitent.

Abraham was indeed most clement, tender-hearted, ever-turning to God with all his heart.

Surely, Abraham was gentle, tender-hearted and oft-returning (to Us).

That Abraham (was) clement/patient (E) groaner/moaner returning to God/repenting .

Indeed Ibrahim is most forbearing, very soft hearted, penitent.

And when his terror left Abraham, and the glad tidings reached him, he pleaded with Us on behalf of the people of Lot.

Verily, Ibrahim (Abraham) was, without doubt, forbearing, used to invoke Allah with humility, and was repentant (to Allah all the time, again and again).

So when fear departed from Abraham and good news came to him, he began to plead with Us for Lot’s people.

Most surely Ibrahim was forbearing, tender-hearted, oft-returning (to Allah):

Lo! Abraham was mild, imploring, penitent.

Abraham was certainly a forbearing, compassionate, and tender-hearted person.

indeed, Abraham was forbearing, tenderhearted and penitent.

Verily, Ibrahim was, without doubt, forbearing, used to invoke Allah with humility, and was repentant.

for Abraham was forbearing, tender-hearted and oft-returning to God.

Abraham was gentle, kind, penitent.

Assuredly Abraham was forbearing, long-suffering, imploring, penitent, always returning [to God] in repentance; thus he said to them, `Would you destroy a town in which there are 300 believers?' They said, `No'. He said, `Would you destroy a town in which there are 200 believers?' They said, `No'. He said, `Would you destroy a town in which there are 40 believers?' They said, `No'. He said, `Would you destroy a town in which there are 14 believers?' They said, `No'. He said, `What if there were one believer in it?' They said, `No'. He said, `Lot is in it'. They said, `We know full well who is in it' ... to the end [of the narrative].

Verily, Ibrahim was, without doubt, forbearing, used to invoke Allah with humility, and was repentant (to Allah).

This is a commendation for Ibrahim because of these beautiful characteristics.

Then Allah says
