Al-Hijr Verse 71

He said, “O my people! Here are my daughters[[ Single women of his community.]] ˹so marry them˺ if you wish to do so.”

He said, “These are my daughters [to marry] if you must.”

He said, 'These are my daughters, if you would be doing.'

He said, ‘My daughters are here, if you must.’

He said: these are my daughters, if act ye must.

He said; "There are my daughters (to marry), if ye must act (so)."

Lot exclaimed in exasperation: "If you are bent on doing something, then here are my daughters."

"Here are my daughters," said Lot, "if you are so active."

He said, “These women of our tribe are my daughters, if you have to.”

He said, ‘These are my daughters, [marry them] if you should do anything.’

Lot said: "Here are my daughters (whom you might lawfully take in marriage), if you have to be doing (something of that sort)!"

He said, `Here are my daughters (as hostages to serve as a guarantee that the strangers will not make a mischief), if you must do something (to make any investigation against me).´

He said: "Those (are) my daughters, if you were making/doing."

He said, "These women of our tribe are my daughters, if you have to."

He said, "Here are my daughters, if do it you must."-

[Lout (Lot)] said: "These (the girls of the nation) are my daughters (to marry lawfully), if you must act (so)."

They said: Did we not forbid thee from (entertaining) people?

He said: These are my daughters, if you will do (aught).

He said: Here are my daughters, if ye must be doing (so).

Lot said, "These are my daughters if you want them."

He said: 'Here are my daughters; take them (in marriage), if you would be doing'

[Lut] said: "These are my daughters, if you must act (so)."

He said, "Here are my daughters, if you must act in this way."

He said, “These are my daughters, if you must.”

He said, `These here are my daughters, if you must be doing', what you desire [to do] in the way of satisfying your lust, then marry them. God, exalted be He, says;

(Lut) said;"These are my daughters, if you must act (so)."

He reminded them about their womenfolk and what their Lord had created for them in the women of permissible sexual relationships.

This issue has already been explained and is no need to repeat the discussion here. All of this happened while they were still unaware of the inevitable calamity and punishment that was about to befall them the following morning.

Hence Allah, may He be exalted, said to Muhammad,

لَعَمْرُكَ إِنَّهُمْ لَفِي سَكْرَتِهِمْ يَعْمَهُونَ
