وَاِذَا قِيْلَ لَهُمْ مَّاذَآ اَنْزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۙقَالُوْٓا اَسَاطِيْرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ   ( النحل: ٢٤ )

وَإِذَا
And when

it is said

لَهُم
to them

مَّاذَآ
"What
anzala
أَنزَلَ
has your Lord sent down?
rabbukum
رَبُّكُمْۙ
has your Lord sent down?
qālū
قَالُوٓا۟
They say
asāṭīru
أَسَٰطِيرُ
"Tales
l-awalīna
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
(of) the ancient"

Wa izaa qeela lahum maazaaa anzala Rabbukum qaaloo asaateerul awwaleen (an-Naḥl 16:24)

Sahih International:

And when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down?" they say, "Legends of the former peoples," (An-Nahl [16] : 24)

When it is said to them, “What has your Lord sent down?” They say, “It is nothing but the tales of the ancient people.”
