وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمٰنُ وَلَدًا سُبْحٰنَهٗ ۗبَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُوْنَ ۙ  ( الأنبياء: ٢٦ )

waqālū
وَقَالُوا۟
And they say
ittakhadha
ٱتَّخَذَ
"Has taken
l-raḥmānu
ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ
the Most Gracious
waladan
وَلَدًاۗ
a son"
sub'ḥānahu
سُبْحَٰنَهُۥۚ
Glorified is He!
bal
بَلْ
Nay
ʿibādun
عِبَادٌ
(they are) slaves
muk'ramūna
مُّكْرَمُونَ
honored

Wa qaalut takhazar Rahmaanu waladan Subhaanah; bal 'ibaadum mkkramoon (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:26)

Sahih International:

And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants. (Al-Anbya [21] : 26)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

They said, “The RaHmān (the All-Merciful, Allah) has taken children for Himself.” Pure is He (from having children). They are but (His) honored servants.
