Al-Anbya Verse 60

Some said, “We heard a young man, called Abraham, speaking ˹ill˺ of them.”

They said, “We heard a young man, speaking ill of them, who is called Abraham.”

They said, 'We heard a young man making mention of them, and he was called Abraham.'

Some said, ‘We heard a youth called Abraham talking about them.’

They said: We heard a youth speak of them, who is called Ibrahim.

They said, "We heard a youth talk of them; He is called Abraham."

Some of them said: "We heard a youth called Abraham speak (ill) of them."

They said: "We heard a youth talk about them. He is called Abraham."

Some among them said, “We heard a youth speak ill of them – the one called Ibrahim.”

They said, ‘We heard a young man mentioning them. He is called ‘‘Abraham.’’ ’

Some said: "We heard a young man make mention of them, who is called Abraham."

Some (of the people) said, `We heard a young man speaking (ill) of them, he is called Abraham.´

They said: "We heard a youth/adolescent mentioning them, is said to him, Abraham

Some among them said, "We heard a youth speak ill of them - the one called Ibrahim."

Others said, "We heard a youth mention them, he is called Abraham

They said: "We heard a young man talking (against) them who is called Ibrahim (Abraham)."

They said: Who has done this to our gods? Surely he is one of the unjust.

They said: We heard a youth called Ibrahim speak of them.

They said: We heard a youth make mention of them, who is called Abraham.

Some of them said, "We heard a youth called Abraham speaking against the idols".

'We have heard a young man called Abraham mention them' they replied.

They said: "We heard a young man talking against them, who is called Ibrahim."

Some said, "We heard a young man, called Abraham, talking about them."

They said, “We heard a youth mentioning them. He is called Abraham.”

They said, one to the other; `We heard a young man making [ill] mention of them, deriding them -- he is called Abraham'.

They said;"We heard a young man talking against them, who is called Ibrahim."

Those who had heard him swearing to plot against them said, we heard a young man talking about them, and they said that he was called Ibrahim.

قَالُوا فَأْتُوا بِهِ عَلَى أَعْيُنِ النَّاسِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَشْهَدُونَ

Some of them said: "we heard a young man by the name of Ibrahim cursing them and calling them names
