Al-Hajj Verse 3

˹Still˺ there are some who dispute about Allah without knowledge, and follow every rebellious devil.

There are some people who dispute concerning Allah without knowledge, and they follow every rebellious devil.

And among men there is such a one that disputes concerning God without knowledge and follows every rebel Satan,

Yet still there are some who, with no knowledge, argue about God, who follow every devilish rebel

And of mankind is he who disputeth respecting Allah without knowledge, and followeth any Satan froward.

And yet among men there are such as dispute about Allah, without knowledge, and follow every evil one obstinate in rebellion!

Among people there are some who wrangle about Allah without knowledge and follow every rebellious devil,

And yet there are men who contend about God without understanding, and follow every wayward devil

And among people are some who argue concerning Allah without knowing, and blindly follow every rebellious devil.

Among the people are those who dispute about Allah without any knowledge, and follow every froward devil,

Among people there are such as dispute about God without any true knowledge and follow every corrupt, rebellious, and mischievous satan.

And there are some people who argue about Allâh without any knowledge and follow every satan (who is) devoid of all good.

And from the people, who argues/disputes in (about) God without knowledge, and He follows every rebellious/mutinous devil.

And among people are some who argue concerning Allah without knowing, and blindly follow every rebellious devil.

On the day you shall see it, every suckling woman shall be scared away from that to which she gave suck; and every pregnant woman shall drop her load unformed; and you shall see men in drunken riot, though not drunk: but dreadful will be the wrath of Allah.

And among mankind is he who disputes concerning Allah, without knowledge, and follows every rebellious (disobedient to Allah) Shaitan (devil) (devoid of each and every kind of good).

The day you see it, every woman giving suck will forget her suckling and every pregnant one will lay down her burden, and thou wilt see men as drunken, yet they will not be drunken, but the chastisement of Allah will be severe.

And among men there is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge and follows every rebellious Shaitan;

Among mankind is he who disputeth concerning Allah without knowledge, and followeth each froward devil;

Some people argue about God without knowledge and follow every rebellious devil.

Among people there are those, who without knowledge, dispute about Allah and follow every rebel satan,

And among mankind is he who disputes about Allah, without knowledge, and follows every rebellious Shaytan.

Yet there are some who dispute about God without having any knowledge and they follow every rebellious devil,

Among the people is he who argues about God without knowledge, and follows every defiant devil.

The following was revealed regarding al-Nadr b. al-Hrith and his companions; And among mankind are those who dispute about God without any knowledge -- they would say, `The angels are God's daughters, and the Qur'n [a collection of] the fables of the ancients'. In addition, they would deny resurrection and the bringing back to life of those who had become dust -- and [those who] follow, in their manner of disputing, every rebellious devil,

Condemnation of the Followers of the Shaytan

Allah condemns those who deny the Resurrection and who deny that Allah is able to restore life to the dead, those who turn away from that which Allah has revealed to His Prophets and, in their views -- denial and disbelief -- follow every rebellious Shaytan among men and Jinn. This is the state of the followers of innovation and misguidance, who turn away from the truth and follow falsehood, following the words of the leaders of misguidance who call people to follow innovation and their own desires and opinions.

Allah says concerning them and their like,

وَمِنَ النَّاسِ مَن يُجَادِلُ فِي اللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ

And among mankind is he who disputes about Allah, without knowledge,

meaning, without sound knowledge.

وَيَتَّبِعُ كُلَّ شَيْطَانٍ مَّرِيدٍ
