Al-Mu'minun Verse 64

But as soon as We seize their elite with torment, they start to cry for help.

Until when We seize their affluent ones with punishment, they start crying for help.

Till, when We seize with the chastisement the ones of them that live at ease, behold, they groan.

When We bring Our punishment on those corrupted with wealth, they will cry for help:

Until when We lay hold of the luxuriant ones of them with the torment, and lo! then they are imploring!

Until, when We seize in Punishment those of them who received the good things of this world, behold, they will groan in supplication!

until We seize with Our chastisement those of them that are given to luxuriant ways. They will then begin to groan.

So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help.

To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring.

When We seize their affluent ones with punishment, behold, they make entreaties [to Us].

Until the time when We seize (them) with the punishment – those of them who have been lost in the pursuit of pleasures. They will then begin to groan for help.

Yet as soon as We take those of them given to a life of luxury to task, behold! they start appealing for succour.

Until when We took/punished their luxuriated ungrateful and arrogant with the torture, then, where/when they cry aloud and humbly/pray.

To the extent that when We seized the wealthy among them with punishment, they immediately began imploring.

Nay, their heart are in ignorance of this, and they do deeds beside this which they continue to do,

Until, when We grasp those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment, behold! They make humble invocation with a loud voice.

Nay, their hearts are in ignorance about it, and they have besides this other deeds which they do.

Until when We overtake those who lead easy lives among them with punishment, lo! they cry for succor.

Till when We grasp their luxurious ones with the punishment, behold! they supplicate.

But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help.

But when We seize with the punishment those of them that live in ease, they groan.

Until when We seize those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment; behold, they make humble invocation with a loud voice.

But then when We seize the affluent among them, they will cry out for help.

Until, when We seize the decadent among them with torment, they begin to groan.

Indeed (hatt is for inceptiveness) when We seize their affluent ones, their wealthy and their leaders, with chastisement, [with] the sword, on the day of Badr, behold! they are supplicating loudly, clamouring [in supplication]. It is [then] said to them;

Until when We seize those of them who lead a luxurious life with punishment; behold, they make humble invocation with a loud voice.

means, when the punishment and vengeance of Allah comes to those who are living a happy life of luxury in this world and overtakes them,

إِذَا هُمْ يَجْأَرُونَ
(behold, they make humble invocation with a loud voice).

means, they scream their calls for help.

This is like the Ayat;

وَذَرْنِى وَالْمُكَذِّبِينَ أُوْلِى النَّعْمَةِ وَمَهِّلْهُمْ قَلِيلً

إِنَّ لَدَيْنَأ أَنكَالاً وَجَحِيماً

And leave Me Alone (to deal) with the beliers, those who are in possession of good things of life. And give them respite for a little while. Verily, with Us are fetters, and a raging Fire. (73;11-12)

كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍ فَنَادَواْ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍ

How many a generation have We destroyed before them! And they cried out when there was no longer time for escape. (38;3)

لَاا تَجْأَرُوا الْيَوْمَ إِنَّكُم مِّنَّا لَاا تُنصَرُونَ
