اَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ اَمْ جَاۤءَهُمْ مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ اٰبَاۤءَهُمُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ۖ  ( المؤمنون: ٦٨ )

Then, do not

يَدَّبَّرُوا۟
they ponder
l-qawla
ٱلْقَوْلَ
the Word
am
أَمْ
or
jāahum
جَآءَهُم
has come to them
مَّا
what
lam
لَمْ
not
yati
يَأْتِ
(had) come
ābāahumu
ءَابَآءَهُمُ
(to) their forefathers?
l-awalīna
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
(to) their forefathers?

Afalam yaddabbarrul qawla am jaaa'ahum maa lam yaati aabaaa'ahumul awwaleen (al-Muʾminūn 23:68)

Sahih International:

Then have they not reflected over the word [i.e., the Quran], or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? (Al-Mu'minun [23] : 68)

Then, is it that they did not ponder over the Word (of Allah), or there has come to them something that did not come to their forefathers?
