Al-Furqan Verse 51

Had We willed, We could have easily sent a warner to every society.

If We had willed, We could have sent to each town a warner.

If We had willed, We would have raised up in every city a warner.

If it had been Our will, We would have sent a warner to every town,

And if We had willed, We would have raised up in each town a warner.

Had it been Our Will, We could have sent a warner to every centre of population.

Had We willed, We would have raised up a separate Warner in each habitation.

Had We pleased We could have raised a warner in every town.

If We willed, We could have sent a Herald of Warning to every village.

Had We wished, We would have sent a warner to every town.

Had We so willed, We could certainly have raised up a warner in every township.

If We had so willed We would surely have raised (in place of universal Prophethood) a Warner in every town.

And if We willed/wanted, We would have sent in every village/urban city a warner/giver of notice .

If We willed, We could have sent a Herald of Warning to every village.

And verily, We have repeated it (the lesson) in various ways among them that they may remember; but most of mankind begrudge aught save ingratitude.

And had We willed, We would have raised a warner in every town.

And certainly We repeat this to them that they may be mindful, but most men consent to naught but denying.

And if We had pleased We would certainly have raised a warner in every town.

If We willed, We could raise up a warner in every village.

Had We wanted We could have sent a Prophet to every town.

Had it been Our will, We could have raised a warner in every village.

And had We willed, We would have raised a warner in every town.

If We had so wished, We might have sent a warner into every town,

Had We willed, We could have sent to every town a warner.

And had We willed, We could have sent forth in every town a warner, to threaten its inhabitants [with God's chastisement]; instead We have sent you to the inhabitants of all towns as a warner for your reward to be a great one.

The universality of the Prophet's Message, how He was supported in His Mission and Allah's Blessings to Mankind

Allah says;

وَلَوْ شِيْنَا لَبَعَثْنَا فِي كُلِّ قَرْيَةٍ نَذِيرًا



And had We willed, We would have raised a warner in every town.

`Calling them to Allah, but We have singled you out, O Muhammad, to be sent to all the people of earth, and We have commanded you to convey the Qur'an,'

لااٌّنذِرَكُمْ بِهِ وَمَن بَلَغَ

that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach. (6;19)

وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِهِ مِنَ الاٌّحْزَابِ فَالنَّارُ مَوْعِدُهُ

but those of the sects that reject it, the Fire will be their promised meeting place. (11;17)

لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ الْقُرَى وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا

that you may warn the Mother of the Towns and all around it. (42;7)

قُلْ يَأَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِلَيْكُمْ جَمِيعًا

Say;"O mankind! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allah..." (7;158)

In the Two Sahihs it is reported that the Prophet said;

بُعِثْتُ إِلَى الاَْحْمَرِ وَالاَْسْوَد

I have been sent to the red and the black.

And;

وَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ يُبْعَثُ إِلَى قَوْمِهِ خَاصَّةً وَبُعِثْتُ إِلَى النَّاسِ عَامَّة
A Prophet would be sent to his own people, but I have been sent to all of mankind.

Allah says
