As-Saffat Verse 29

The misleaders will reply, “No! You disbelieved on your own.

[The misleaders] will say, “Rather, you yourselves were not believers,

Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers;

They will say, ‘No! It was you who would not believe-

They will say: nay! ye yourselves were not believers.

They will reply; "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith!

They will say: “Nay, you yourselves were not the ones who would believe.

They will say: "No, you were the ones who would not believe.

They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!”

They will answer, ‘No, you [yourselves] had no faith.

They (the leaders) say: "No! Rather, you yourselves were not believers, (with no inclination and intention to believe).

They (- seducers) will reply, `It was not so. Rather you yourselves were not (inclined to be) the believers.

They said: "But you were not being believing."

They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!”

They shall say, "Nay, you (yourselves) were not believers;

They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers.

Saying: Surely you used to come to us from the right side.

They shall say: Nay, you (yourselves) were not believers;

They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers.

Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith.

But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers.

They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers."

They will say, "No! It was you who would not believe --

They will say, “You yourselves were not believers.

They, the ones who were followed, say, to them [the followers]; `On the contrary! You were [simply] not believers, for it would only be true that we led you astray if you had actually been believers [in the first place] and then rejected faith and followed us.

They will reply;"Nay, you yourselves were not believers."

The leaders of the Jinn and mankind will say to their followers, "It is not as you say; your hearts denied faith and were open to disbelief and sin.
