As-Saffat Verse 55

Then he ˹and the others˺ will look and spot him in the midst of the Hellfire.

So he will look down and see him in the midst of the Blazing Fire.

Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell.

He will look down and see him in the midst of the Fire,

Then he will look down and see him in the midst of the Flaming Fire.

He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.

Then he will look downwards, and will see him in the depths of Hell.

He looked down and saw (his friend) in the midst of Hell.

He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire.

Then he will take a look and sight him in the middle of hell.

He will look down and see him in the midst of the Blazing Flame.

Then as he will have a look (at his companion) he will find him right in the midst of Hell.

So he looked/saw, so he saw him in the Hell`s middle .

He therefore looked down and saw him amidst the blazing fire.

Then he looked down and saw him in the midst of hell.

So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.

He will say: Will you look?

Then he looked down and saw him in the midst of hell.

Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell.

He will look down and see him in hell.

Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell.

So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.

Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire.

He will look, and will see him in the pit of Hell.

Then he, that speaker, will take a look, through one of the apertures in Paradise, and he will catch sight of him, that is, he will see his comrade, in the centre of Hell, in the middle of the Fire.

So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire.

Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, Sa`id bin Jubayr, Khulayd Al-`Usari, Qatadah, As-Suddi and Ata' Al-Khurasani said,

"This means, in the middle of Hell."

Al-Hasan Al-Basri said,

"In the middle of Hell as if he were a burning star."

قَالَ تَاللَّهِ إِنْ كِدتَّ لَتُرْدِينِ
