اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ يُزَكُّوْنَ اَنْفُسَهُمْ ۗ بَلِ اللّٰهُ يُزَكِّيْ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ وَلَا يُظْلَمُوْنَ فَتِيْلًا   ( النساء: ٤٩ )

He purifies
man

يَشَآءُ
He wills
walā
وَلَا
and not
yuẓ'lamūna
يُظْلَمُونَ
they will be wronged
fatīlan
فَتِيلًا
(even as much as) a hair on a date-seed

Alam tara ilal lazeena yuzakkoona anfusahum; balil laahu yuzakkee mai yashaaa'u wa laa yuzlamoona fateelaa (an-Nisāʾ 4:49)

Sahih International:

Have you not seen those who claim themselves to be pure? Rather, Allah purifies whom He wills, and injustice is not done to them, [even] as much as a thread [inside a date seed]. (An-Nisa [4] : 49)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Have you not seen those who claim sanctity for themselves? In fact, Allah sanctifies whom He wills, and they shall not be wronged even to the measure of a thread of a date-stone.
