Fussilat Verse 20

When they reach it, their ears, eyes, and skin will testify against what they used to do.[[ It is reported in Ibn Kathîr’s commentary that, on the Day of Judgment, the wicked will deny the evil deeds in their records—as a desperate attempt to escape the horrible punishment in Hell. They will be asked if they accept Allah, the angels, or even their own families and neighbours as witnesses, but they will refuse. So Allah will make their organs testify against them. ]]

until when they reach it, their hearing, their sight and their skins will testify against them concerning what they used to do.

till when they are come to it, their hearing, their eyes and their skins bear witness against them concerning what they have been doing,

their ears, eyes, and skins will, when they reach it, testify against them for their misdeeds.

Until when they come to it, their ears and their sights and their skins will bear witness against them of that which they had been working.

At length, when they reach the (Fire), their hearing, their sight, and their skins will bear witness against them, as to (all) their deeds.

and when all have arrived, their ears, their eyes, and their skins shall bear witness against them, stating all that they had done in the life of the world.

So that when they reach it their ears and eyes and persons will testify to what they did.

To the extent that when they reach it, their ears and their eyes and their skins will testify against them for what they used to do.

when they come to it, their hearing, their eyes and their skins will bear witness against them concerning what they used to do.

Until when they reach it, their ears, and their eyes, and their skins will bear witness against them as to all that they did habitually.

Till, when they all reach it (- the Hell) their hearing and their eyes and their skins will be (testifying to and) bearing witness against them as to their (mis)deeds.

Until when they came to it! Their hearing/listening , and their eye sights/understanding, and their skins testified/witnessed on them because (of) what they were making/doing

To the extent that when they reach it, their ears and their eyes and their skins will testify against them for what they used to do.

Until when they come to it, their ears and their eyes and their skins shall bear witness against them as to what they did

Till, when they reach it (Hell-fire), their hearing (ears) and their eyes, and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do.

And the day when the enemies of Allah are gathered to the Fire, they will be formed into groups.

Until when they come to it, their ears and their eyes and their skins shall bear witness against them as to what they did.

Till, when they reach it, their ears and their eyes and their skins testify against them as to what they used to do.

until (on the brink of it) their eyes, ears and skin will testify to their deeds on the Day when the enemies of God are driven to the fire.

when they reach it, their hearing, eyes and skins will testify against them for what they were doing.

Till, when they reach it, their hearing (ears) and their eyes and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do.

when they come close to it, their ears, eyes and skins will testify against them for their misdeeds.

Until, when they have reached it, their hearing, and their sight, and their skins will testify against them regarding what they used to do.

until, when they reach it (idh m; the m is extra), their hearing and their eyes and their skins will bear witness against them concerning what they used to do.

حَتَّى إِذَا مَا جَاوُوهَا

Till, when they reach it,

means, when they stand at its edge,

شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَأَبْصَارُهُمْ وَجُلُودُهُمْ

بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ



their hearing (ears) and their eyes and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do.

means, all their deeds, earlier and later; not a single letter will be concealed

And when they have all reached the intended end, there and then shall their senses: hearing, sight and touch or skin bear witness to their deeds of iniquity
