At-Tur Verse 36

Or did they create the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no firm belief ˹in Allah˺.

Or did they create the heavens and earth? Rather, they are not certain in faith.

Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They do not have faith.

Created they the heavens and the earth! Aye! they will not be convinced.

Or is it they who created the heavens and the earth? No; the truth is that they lack sure faith.

Or have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact they are certain of nothing.

Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather they are not certain.

Did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather, they have no certainty!

Or did they create the heavens and the earth (so that their sovereignty belongs to them)? No indeed. Rather, they have no certain knowledge (about creation, humankind, and the basic facts concerning them).

Have they created the heavens and the earth? The thing is only that they have no faith (in God).

Or they created the skies/space and the earth/Planet Earth, but/rather they are not sure/certain?

Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Rather they are not certain.

Or were they created without a (creative) agency? Or are they the creators?

Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay! they have no certainty.

Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nay, but they are sure of nothing!

Have they created the heavens and the earth? In fact, they have no strong faith.

Or, did they create the heavens and the earth? No, their belief is not certain!

Or did they create the heavens and the earth Nay, but they have no firm belief.

Did they create the heavens and the earth? No! They have no faith.

Or did they create the heavens and the earth? In fact, they are not certain.

Or did they create the heavens and the earth? Nor can any but God, the Creator, have created them, so why do they not worship Him? Nay, but they are not certain, of Him, for otherwise they would have believed in His Prophet.

meaning, Allah is censuring the idolators for their idolatry, while asking them if they created the heavens and earth. They knew that Allah Alone is the Creator without partners with Him. However, they fell into idolatry because they had no firm belief
