Al-Waqi'ah Verse 91

then ˹they will be told,˺ “Greetings to you from the people of the right.”

[He will be told], “Peace be to you, for being one of the people of the right.”

'Peace be upon thee, Companion of the Right!'

[he will hear], ‘Peace be on you,’ from his companions on the Right;

Then: peace Unto thee, for thou art of those on the right hand.

(For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand.

he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right.

There will be the salutation by those of the right hand: "Peace on you.

Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right.

then [he will be told,] ‘Peace be on you, from the People of the Right Hand!’

Then "Peace be upon you" (will be what you will always hear) from the people of the Right.

Then (it will be said to him,) `Peace be upon you ever, (O you) of the blessed people!´

So greeting/peace (is) for you from the right (hands`) owners/company/friends.

Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right.

Then (the salutation) "Peace to you” from the companions of the Right Hand.

Then there is safety and peace (from the Punishment of Allah) for (you as you are from) those on the Right Hand.

And if he is one of those on the right hand,

Then peace to you from those on the right hand.

Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto thee" from those on the right hand.

it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security.

(he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right'

Then Salam (peace) to you from those on the right.

he will be greeted with, "Peace be to you," by those on the Right.

Then, “Peace upon you,” from those on the Right.

then `Peace be to you', that is, [then] for him there will be [peace by way of] security (salm) from chastisement, [a greeting] from those of the right [hand], [arising] from the fact that he is one of them.

Then Salam (peace) to you from those on the right,

meaning, the angels will deliver the good news to them by saying, "Peace be upon you," i.e., be calm, you will be led to safety, you are among those on the right, as Ikrimah said, "The angels will greet him with the Salam and convey to him the news that he is among those on the right."

This is a good explanation, and it conforms with Allah's statement,

إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُواْ رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَـمُواْ تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَـيِكَةُ أَلاَّ تَخَافُواْ وَلَا تَحْزَنُواْ وَأَبْشِرُواْ بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِى كُنتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ

نَحْنُ أَوْلِيَأوُكُمْ فِى الْحَيَوةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِى الاٌّخِرَةِ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَشْتَهِى أَنفُسُكُمْ وَلَكُمْ فِيهَا مَا تَدَّعُونَ

نُزُلاً مِّنْ غَفُورٍ رَّحِيمٍ

Verily, those who say;"Our Lord is Allah." and then they stand firm, on them the angles will descend (at the time of their death) (saying);"Fear not, nor grieve! But receive the glad tidings of Paradise which you have been promised! We have been your friends in the life of this world and are (so) in the Hereafter. Therein you shall have (all) that your souls desire, and therein you shall have (all) for which you ask. An entertainment from the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (41;30-32).

Allah's statement,

وَأَمَّا إِن كَانَ مِنَ الْمُكَذِّبِينَ الضَّالِّينَ
