وَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهٖٓ اِلَّآ اَنْ قَالُوْٓا اَخْرِجُوْهُمْ مِّنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْۚ اِنَّهُمْ اُنَاسٌ يَّتَطَهَّرُوْنَ   ( الأعراف: ٨٢ )

قَرْيَتِكُمْۖ
your town
innahum
إِنَّهُمْ
Indeed they
unāsun
أُنَاسٌ
(are) people
yataṭahharūna
يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
who keep themselves pure"

Wa maa kaana jawaaba qawmihee illaa an qaalooo akhrijoohum min qaryatikum innahum unaasuny yatatah haroon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:82)

Sahih International:

But the answer of his people was only that they said, "Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure." (Al-A'raf [7] : 82)

The answer of his people was no other than to say, “Expel them from your town. They are a people who pretend too much purity.”
