Al-Buruj Verse 7

watching what they had ˹ordered to be˺ done to the believers,

and were witnessing what they did to the believers.

and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers.

to watch what they were doing to the believers.

And to that which they did to the believers were witnesses.

And they witnessed (all) that they were doing against the Believers.

and were witnessing what they did to the believers.

Witnessing what they had done to the believers!

And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims!

as they were themselves witnesses to what they did to the faithful.

And were themselves witnesses of what they did to the believers.

And they were the witnesses of those (wrongs) they were doing to the believers.

And they are on what they are making/doing with (to) the believers witnessing/testifying.

And they themselves are witnesses to what they were doing to the Muslims!

And they witnessed all they were doing against the believers.

And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers (i.e. burning them).

And they punished them for naught but that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised,

And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers.

And were themselves the witnesses of what they did to the believers.

witnessing what they were doing.

and they were witnesses of what they did to the believers

And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers.

to watch what they were doing to the believers,

And were witnessing what they did to the believers.

and they themselves, to what they did to those who believed, in God, in the way of torturing them by hurling [them] into the fire when they did not recant their faith, were witnesses, [they were themselves] present [thereat]. It is reported [in a hadth] that God saved the believers who had been thrown into the fire by taking their souls before they fell into it, and that the fire then rose up and burnt all those [sitting] around it.

Cursed were the People of the Ditch. Of fire fed with fuel. When they sat by it. And they witnessed what they were doing against the believers.

meaning, they were witnesses to what was done to these believers.

Allah said,

وَمَا نَقَمُوا مِنْهُمْ إِلاَّ أَن يُوْمِنُوا بِاللَّهِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ
