فَمَا زَالَتْ تِّلْكَ دَعْوٰىهُمْ حَتّٰى جَعَلْنٰهُمْ حَصِيْدًا خَامِدِيْنَ ( الأنبياء: ١٥ )
famā
فَمَا
Then not
Et ensuite n’
zālat
زَالَت
ceased
a (pas) arrêté
til'ka
تِّلْكَ
[this]
cette
daʿwāhum
دَعْوَىٰهُمْ
their cry
invocation (à) eux
ḥattā
حَتَّىٰ
until
jusqu’à-ce que
jaʿalnāhum
جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ
We made them
Nous les ayons rendus
ḥaṣīdan
حَصِيدًا
reaped
(comme) récoltés en fauchant,
khāmidīna
خَٰمِدِينَ
extinct
éteints.
Famaa zaalat tilka da'waahum hattaa ja'alnaahum haseedan khaamideen (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:15)
English Sahih:
And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire]. (Al-Anbya [21] : 15)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Telle ne cessa d'être leur lamentation jusqu'à ce que Nous les eûmes moissonnés et éteints. (Al-Anbiya' [21] : 15)
