اَمْ يَحْسُدُوْنَ النَّاسَ عَلٰى مَآ اٰتٰىهُمُ اللّٰهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهٖۚ فَقَدْ اٰتَيْنَآ اٰلَ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ الْكِتٰبَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَاٰتَيْنٰهُمْ مُّلْكًا عَظِيْمًا ( النساء: ٥٤ )
am
أَمْ
Or
Ou
yaḥsudūna
يَحْسُدُونَ
are they jealous
veulent-ils que perdent
l-nāsa
ٱلنَّاسَ
(of) the people
les gens
ʿalā
عَلَىٰ
for
[]
mā
مَآ
what
ce que
ātāhumu
ءَاتَىٰهُمُ
gave them
leur a donné
l-lahu
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
Allâh
min
مِن
from
de
faḍlihi
فَضْلِهِۦۖ
His Bounty?
Sa Faveur ?
faqad
فَقَدْ
But surely
Alors certes,
ātaynā
ءَاتَيْنَآ
We gave
Nous avons donné
āla
ءَالَ
(the) family
(à la) famille
ib'rāhīma
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
(of) Ibrahim
(d’)Abraham
l-kitāba
ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
the Book
Le Livre
wal-ḥik'mata
وَٱلْحِكْمَةَ
and [the] wisdom
et la sagesse
waātaynāhum
وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُم
and [We] gave them
et leur avons donné
mul'kan
مُّلْكًا
a kingdom
un royaume
ʿaẓīman
عَظِيمًا
great
immense.
Am yahsudoonan naasa 'alaa maaa aataahumul laahu min fadlihee faqad aatainaaa Aala Ibraaheemal Kitaaba wal Hikmata wa aatainaahum mulkan 'azeemaa (an-Nisāʾ 4:54)
English Sahih:
Or do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? But We had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom. (An-Nisa [4] : 54)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Envient-ils aux gens ce qu'Allah leur a donné de par Sa grâce? Or, Nous avons donné à la famille d'Abraham le Livre et la Sagesse; et Nous leur avons donné un immense royaume. (An-Nisa' [4] : 54)
