Fussilat Ayah 20

حَتّٰىٓ اِذَا مَا جَاۤءُوْهَا شَهِدَ عَلَيْهِمْ سَمْعُهُمْ وَاَبْصَارُهُمْ وَجُلُوْدُهُمْ بِمَا كَانُوْا يَعْمَلُوْنَ   ( فصلت: ٢٠ )

ḥattā
حَتَّىٰٓ
Until
Jusqu’à-ce que,
idhā
إِذَا
when
quand
mā
مَا
when
quand
jāūhā
جَآءُوهَا
they come to it
ils arriveront (chez) lui,
shahida
شَهِدَ
(will) testify
témoigneront
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
against them
contre eux
samʿuhum
سَمْعُهُمْ
their hearing
leurs ouïes
wa-abṣāruhum
وَأَبْصَٰرُهُمْ
and their sight
et leurs vues
wajulūduhum
وَجُلُودُهُم
and their skins
et leurs peaux
bimā
بِمَا
(as) to what
de ce qu’
kānū
كَانُوا۟
they used (to)
ils faisaient
yaʿmalūna
يَعْمَلُونَ
do
ils faisaient.

Hattaaa izaa maa jaaa'oohaa shahida 'alaihim samu'uhum wa absaaruhum wa julooduhum bimaa kaanoo ya'maloon (Fuṣṣilat 41:20)

English Sahih:

Until, when they reach it, their hearing and their eyes and their skins will testify against them of what they used to do. (Fussilat [41] : 20)

Muhammad Hamidullah:

Alors, quand ils y seront, leur ouïe, leurs yeux et leurs peaux témoigneront contre eux de ce qu'ils œuvraient. (Fussilat [41] : 20)

Puis lorsqu’ils arriveront au Feu auquel on les conduisait, et qu’ils renieront ce qu’ils commettaient dans le bas monde, leurs ouïes, leurs vues et leurs peaux témoigneront de leur mécréance et de leurs péchés dans leur vie passée.
