فَلَمَّآ اٰتٰىهُمَا صَالِحًا جَعَلَا لَهٗ شُرَكَاۤءَ فِيْمَآ اٰتٰىهُمَا ۚفَتَعٰلَى اللّٰهُ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ١٩٠ )
Falammaaa aataahumaa saalihan ja'alaa lahoo shurakaaa'a feemaaa aataahumaa; fata'aalal laahu 'ammaa yushrikoon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:190)
English Sahih:
But when He gives them a good [child], they ascribe partners to Him concerning that which He has given them. Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him. (Al-A'raf [7] : 190)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
Puis, lorsqu'Il leur eût donné un (enfant) sain, tous deux assignèrent à Allah des associés en ce qu'Il leur avait donné. Mais Allah est bien au-dessus des associés qu'on Lui assigne. (Al-A'raf [7] : 190)

Puis lorsqu’Allah exauça leur invocation et leur donna un enfant sain comme ils le Lui demandèrent, ceux-ci attribuèrent à Allah des associés et firent de leur enfant le serviteur d’une autre divinité qu’Allah en l’appelant ‘Abdu l-Ħârithi (serviteur d’Al-Ħârith). Allah est au-dessus de tout associé, Il est le Seul à être le détenteur de l’attribut de la seigneurie et de la divinité.
