اَلَّذِيْنَ يَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ وَيَبْغُوْنَهَا عِوَجًاۚ وَهُمْ بِالْاٰخِرَةِ كٰفِرُوْنَۘ ( الأعراف: ٤٥ )
Allazeena yasuddoona 'an sabeelil laahi wa yabghoo nahaa 'iwajanw wa hum bil Aakhirati kaafiroon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:45)
English Sahih:
Who averted [people] from the way of Allah and sought to make it [seem] deviant while they were, concerning the Hereafter, disbelievers." (Al-A'raf [7] : 45)
Muhammad Hamidullah:
qui obstruaient le sentier d'Allah, qui voulaient le rendre tortueux, et qui ne croyaient pas à l'au-delà.» (Al-A'raf [7] : 45)

Ces injustes se détournaient du chemin d’Allah et appelaient les autres à s’en détourner. Ils espéraient que le chemin de la vérité soit tortueux afin que les gens ne l’empruntent pas .Ils ne croyaient pas à l’au-delà et ne s’y préparaient pas.
