اَوَاَمِنَ اَهْلُ الْقُرٰٓى اَنْ يَّأْتِيَهُمْ بَأْسُنَا ضُحًى وَّهُمْ يَلْعَبُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ٩٨ )

أَوَأَمِنَ
Or felt secure
Et est-ce que sont en sécurité

ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ
(of) the cities
(des) villages

يَأْتِيَهُم
comes to them
leur vienne

بَأْسُنَا
Our punishment
Notre Force de combat
ḍuḥan
ضُحًى
(in) daylight
(pendant) un matin
wahum
وَهُمْ
while they
alors qu’ils
yalʿabūna
يَلْعَبُونَ
(were) playing?
jouent ?
Awa amina ahlul quraaa ai yaatiyahum baasunaa duhanw wa hum yal'aboon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:98)
English Sahih:
Or did the people of the cities feel secure from Our punishment coming to them in the morning while they were at play? (Al-A'raf [7] : 98)
