لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِاللَّغْوِ فِيْٓ اَيْمَانِكُمْ وَلٰكِنْ يُّؤَاخِذُكُمْ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ قُلُوْبُكُمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوْرٌ حَلِيْمٌ ( البقرة: ٢٢٥ )
Not
لَّا
नहीं मुआख़्ज़ा करेगा तुम्हारा
will take you to task
يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ
नहीं मुआख़्ज़ा करेगा तुम्हारा
Allah
ٱللَّهُ
अल्लाह
for (what is) unintentional
بِٱللَّغْوِ
साथ लग़्व के
in
فِىٓ
तुम्हारी क़समों के
your oaths
أَيْمَٰنِكُمْ
तुम्हारी क़समों के
[and] but
وَلَٰكِن
और लेकिन
He takes you to task
يُؤَاخِذُكُم
वो मुआख़्ज़ा करेगा तुम्हारा
for what
بِمَا
बवजह उसके जो
(have) earned
كَسَبَتْ
कमाया
your hearts
قُلُوبُكُمْۗ
तुम्हारे दिलों ने
And Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
और अल्लाह
(is) Oft-Forgiving
غَفُورٌ
बहुत बख़्शने वाला है
Most Forbearing
حَلِيمٌ
बहुत हिल्म वाला है
La yuakhithukumu Allahu biallaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yuakhithukum bima kasabat quloobukum waAllahu ghafoorun haleemun (al-Baq̈arah 2:225)

अल्लाह तुम्हें तुम्हारी ऐसी कसमों पर नहीं पकड़ेगा जो यूँ ही मुँह से निकल गई हो, लेकिन उन क़समों पर वह तुम्हें अवश्य पकड़ेगा जो तुम्हारे दिल के इरादे का नतीजा हों। अल्लाह बहुत क्षमा करनेवाला, सहनशील है
English Sahih:
Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing. ([2] Al-Baqarah : 225)
