يَوْمَىِٕذٍ يَّتَّبِعُوْنَ الدَّاعِيَ لَا عِوَجَ لَهٗ ۚوَخَشَعَتِ الْاَصْوَاتُ لِلرَّحْمٰنِ فَلَا تَسْمَعُ اِلَّا هَمْسًا ( طه: ١٠٨ )
On that Day
يَوْمَئِذٍ
जिस दिन
they will follow
يَتَّبِعُونَ
वो पैरवी करेंगे
the caller
ٱلدَّاعِىَ
पुकारने वाले की
no
لَا
नहीं कोई कजी
deviation
عِوَجَ
नहीं कोई कजी
from it
لَهُۥۖ
जिसके लिए
And (will be) humbled
وَخَشَعَتِ
और दब जाऐंगी
the voices
ٱلْأَصْوَاتُ
आवाज़ें
for the Most Gracious
لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ
रहमान के लिए
so not
فَلَا
तो ना
you will hear
تَسْمَعُ
तुम सुनोगे
except
إِلَّا
सिवाय
a faint sound
هَمْسًا
आहट के
Yawmaithin yattabi'oona aldda'iya la 'iwaja lahu wakhasha'ati alaswatu lilrrahmani fala tasma'u illa hamsan (Ṭāʾ Hāʾ 20:108)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
उस दिन वे पुकारनेवाले के पीछे चल पड़ेंगे और उसके सामने कोई अकड़ न दिखाई जा सकेगी। आवाज़े रहमान के सामने दब जाएँगी। एक हल्की मन्द आवाज़ के अतिरिक्त तुम कुछ न सुनोगे
English Sahih:
That Day, they [i.e., everyone] will follow [the call of] the Caller [with] no deviation therefrom, and [all] voices will be stilled before the Most Merciful, so you will not hear except a whisper [of footsteps]. ([20] Taha : 108)
