وَقُلْ لِّلْمُؤْمِنٰتِ يَغْضُضْنَ مِنْ اَبْصَارِهِنَّ وَيَحْفَظْنَ فُرُوْجَهُنَّ وَلَا يُبْدِيْنَ زِيْنَتَهُنَّ اِلَّا مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَلْيَضْرِبْنَ بِخُمُرِهِنَّ عَلٰى جُيُوْبِهِنَّۖ وَلَا يُبْدِيْنَ زِيْنَتَهُنَّ اِلَّا لِبُعُوْلَتِهِنَّ اَوْ اٰبَاۤىِٕهِنَّ اَوْ اٰبَاۤءِ بُعُوْلَتِهِنَّ اَوْ اَبْنَاۤىِٕهِنَّ اَوْ اَبْنَاۤءِ بُعُوْلَتِهِنَّ اَوْ اِخْوَانِهِنَّ اَوْ بَنِيْٓ اِخْوَانِهِنَّ اَوْ بَنِيْٓ اَخَوٰتِهِنَّ اَوْ نِسَاۤىِٕهِنَّ اَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ اَيْمَانُهُنَّ اَوِ التَّابِعِيْنَ غَيْرِ اُولِى الْاِرْبَةِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ اَوِ الطِّفْلِ الَّذِيْنَ لَمْ يَظْهَرُوْا عَلٰى عَوْرٰتِ النِّسَاۤءِ ۖوَلَا يَضْرِبْنَ بِاَرْجُلِهِنَّ لِيُعْلَمَ مَا يُخْفِيْنَ مِنْ زِيْنَتِهِنَّۗ وَتُوْبُوْٓا اِلَى اللّٰهِ جَمِيْعًا اَيُّهَ الْمُؤْمِنُوْنَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُوْنَ ( النور: ٣١ )
Waqul lilmuminati yaghdudna min absarihinna wayahfathna furoojahunna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa ma thahara minha walyadribna bikhumurihinna 'ala juyoobihinna wala yubdeena zeenatahunna illa libu'oolatihinna aw abaihinna aw abai bu'oolatihinna aw abnaihinna aw abnai bu'oolatihinna aw ikhwanihinna aw banee ikhwanihinna aw banee akhawatihinna aw nisaihinna aw ma malakat aymanuhunna awi alttabi'eena ghayri olee alirbati mina alrrijali awi alttifli allatheena lam yathharoo 'ala 'awrati alnnisai wala yadribna biarjulihinna liyu'lama ma yukhfeena min zeenatihinna watooboo ila Allahi jamee'an ayyuha almuminoona la'allakum tuflihoona (an-Nūr 24:31)

और ईमानवाली स्त्रियों से कह दो कि वे भी अपनी निगाहें बचाकर रखें और अपने गुप्तांगों की रक्षा करें। और अपने शृंगार प्रकट न करें, सिवाय उसके जो उनमें खुला रहता है। और अपने सीनों (वक्षस्थल) पर अपने दुपट्टे डाल रहें और अपना शृंगार किसी पर ज़ाहिर न करें सिवाय अपने पतियों के या अपने बापों के या अपने पतियों के बापों के या अपने बेटों के या अपने पतियों के बेटों के या अपने भाइयों के या अपने भतीजों के या अपने भांजों के या मेल-जोल की स्त्रियों के या जो उनकी अपनी मिल्कियत में हो उनके, या उन अधीनस्थ पुरुषों के जो उस अवस्था को पार कर चुके हों जिससें स्त्री की ज़रूरत होती है, या उन बच्चों के जो स्त्रियों के परदे की बातों से परिचित न हों। और स्त्रियाँ अपने पाँव धरती पर मारकर न चलें कि अपना जो शृंगार छिपा रखा हो, वह मालूम हो जाए। ऐ ईमानवालो! तुम सब मिलकर अल्लाह से तौबा करो, ताकि तुम्हें सफलता प्राप्त हो
English Sahih:
And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment [i.e., beauty] except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers, their brothers' sons, their sisters' sons, their women, that which their right hands possess [i.e., slaves], or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed. ([24] An-Nur : 31)

और (ऐ रसूल) ईमानदार औरतों से भी कह दो कि वह भी अपनी नज़रें नीची रखें और अपनी शर्मगाहों की हिफाज़त करें और अपने बनाव सिंगार (के मक़ामात) को (किसी पर) ज़ाहिर न होने दें मगर जो खुद ब खुद ज़ाहिर हो जाता हो (छुप न सकता हो) (उसका गुनाह नही) और अपनी ओढ़नियों को (घूँघट मारके) अपने गरेबानों (सीनों) पर डाले रहें और अपने शौहर या अपने बाप दादाओं या आपने शौहर के बाप दादाओं या अपने बेटों या अपने शौहर के बेटों या अपने भाइयों या अपने भतीजों या अपने भांजों या अपने (क़िस्म की) औरतों या अपनी या अपनी लौंडियों या (घर के) नौकर चाकर जो मर्द सूरत हैं मगर (बहुत बूढे होने की वजह से) औरतों से कुछ मतलब नहीं रखते या वह कमसिन लड़के जो औरतों के पर्दे की बात से आगाह नहीं हैं उनके सिवा (किसी पर) अपना बनाव सिंगार ज़ाहिर न होने दिया करें और चलने में अपने पाँव ज़मीन पर इस तरह न रखें कि लोगों को उनके पोशीदा बनाव सिंगार (झंकार वग़ैरह) की ख़बर हो जाए और ऐ ईमानदारों तुम सबके सब ख़ुदा की बारगाह में तौबा करो ताकि तुम फलाह पाओ
