وَقَالُوْا نَحْنُ اَكْثَرُ اَمْوَالًا وَّاَوْلَادًاۙ وَّمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِيْنَ ( سبإ: ٣٥ )
And they say
وَقَالُوا۟
और उन्होंने कहा
"We
نَحْنُ
हम
(have) more
أَكْثَرُ
ज़्यादा हैं
wealth
أَمْوَٰلًا
माल में
and children
وَأَوْلَٰدًا
और औलाद में
and not
وَمَا
और नहीं
we
نَحْنُ
हम
will be punished"
بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
अज़ाब दिए जाने वाले
Waqaloo nahnu aktharu amwalan waawladan wama nahnu bimu'aththabeena (Sabaʾ 34:35)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि 'हम तो धन और संतान में तुमसे बढ़कर है और हम यातनाग्रस्त होनेवाले नहीं।'
English Sahih:
And they said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished." ([34] Saba : 35)
