وَقَالُوْا نَحْنُ اَكْثَرُ اَمْوَالًا وَّاَوْلَادًاۙ وَّمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِيْنَ ( سبإ: ٣٥ )
And they say
وَقَالُوا۟
அவர்கள் கூறினர்
"We
نَحْنُ
நாங்கள்
(have) more
أَكْثَرُ
அதிகமானவர்கள்
wealth
أَمْوَٰلًا
செல்வங்களாலும்
and children
وَأَوْلَٰدًا
பிள்ளைகளாலும்
and not we will be punished"
وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
ஆகவே, நாங்கள் மறுமையிலும் அறவே தண்டிக்கப்பட மாட்டோம்.
Wa qaaloo nahnu aksaru amwaalanw wa awlaadanw wa maa nahnu bimu 'azzabeen (Sabaʾ 34:35)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
அன்றி "நாங்கள் அதிகமான பொருளையும் சந்ததிகளையும் உடையவர்கள். ஆகவே, (மறுமையில்) நாங்கள் வேதனை செய்யப்பட மாட்டோம்" என்று கூறினர்.
English Sahih:
And they said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished." ([34] Saba : 35)
