وَمَآ اٰتَيْنٰهُمْ مِّنْ كُتُبٍ يَّدْرُسُوْنَهَا وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَآ اِلَيْهِمْ قَبْلَكَ مِنْ نَّذِيْرٍۗ ( سبإ: ٤٤ )
And not
وَمَآ
और नहीं
We (had) given them
ءَاتَيْنَٰهُم
दीं हमने उन्हें
any
مِّن
कुछ किताबें
Scriptures
كُتُبٍ
कुछ किताबें
which they could study
يَدْرُسُونَهَاۖ
वो पढ़ते हों उन्हें
and not
وَمَآ
और नहीं
We sent
أَرْسَلْنَآ
भेजा हमने
to them
إِلَيْهِمْ
तरफ़ उनके
before you
قَبْلَكَ
आपसे पहले
any
مِن
कोई डराने वाला
warner
نَّذِيرٍ
कोई डराने वाला
Wama ataynahum min kutubin yadrusoonaha wama arsalna ilayhim qablaka min natheerin (Sabaʾ 34:44)
Muhammad Faruq Khan Sultanpuri & Muhammad Ahmed:
हमने उन्हें न तो किताबे दी थीं, जिनको वे पढ़ते हों और न तुमसे पहले उनकी ओर कोई सावधान करनेवाला ही भेजा था
English Sahih:
And We had not given them any scriptures which they could study, and We had not sent to them before you, [O Muhammad], any warner. ([34] Saba : 44)
