وَلَقَدْ ضَلَّ قَبْلَهُمْ اَكْثَرُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَۙ ( الصافات: ٧١ )
And verily
وَلَقَدْ
और अलबत्ता तहक़ीक़
went astray
ضَلَّ
भटक गए
before them
قَبْلَهُمْ
उनसे क़ब्ल
most
أَكْثَرُ
बहुत से
(of) the former (people)
ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
पहले लोग
Walaqad dalla qablahum aktharu alawwaleena (aṣ-Ṣāffāt 37:71)

और उनसे पहले भी पूर्ववर्ती लोगों में अधिकांश पथभ्रष्ट हो चुके है,

And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples, ([37] As-Saffat : 71)
