۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَاۤءَهُمْ رَسُوْلٌ كَرِيْمٌۙ ( الدخان: ١٧ )
And certainly
وَلَقَدْ
और अलबत्ता तहक़ीक़
We tried
فَتَنَّا
आज़माया हमने
before them
قَبْلَهُمْ
उनसे क़ब्ल
(the) people
قَوْمَ
क़ौमे
(of) Firaun
فِرْعَوْنَ
फ़िरऔन को
and came to them
وَجَآءَهُمْ
और आया उनके पास
a Messenger
رَسُولٌ
रसूल
noble
كَرِيمٌ
मुअज़िज़
Walaqad fatanna qablahum qawma fir'awna wajaahum rasoolun kareemun (ad-Dukhān 44:17)

उनसे पहले हम फ़िरऔन की क़ौम के लोगों को परीक्षा में डाल चुके हैं, जबकि उनके पास एक अत्यन्त सज्जन रसूल आया
English Sahih:
And We had already tried before them the people of Pharaoh, and there came to them a noble messenger [i.e., Moses], ([44] Ad-Dukhan : 17)
