Surah [44] Ad-Dukhan : 37
ARBNDEENIDTRUR

اَهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ اَمۡ قَوۡمُ تُبَّعٍۙ وَّ الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِهِمۡ‌ؕ اَهۡلَكۡنٰهُمۡ‌ۖ اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا مُجۡرِمِيۡنَ(الدخان :37)

أَهُمْ
Are they
خَيْرٌ
better
أَمْ
or
قَوْمُ
(the) people
تُبَّعٍ
(of) Tubba
وَٱلَّذِينَ
and those
مِن
before them?
قَبْلِهِمْۚ
before them?
أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْۖ
We destroyed them
إِنَّهُمْ
indeed, they
كَانُوا۟
were
مُجْرِمِينَ
criminals

Ahum khayrun am qawmu tubba'in waallatheena min qablihim ahlaknahum innahum kanoo mujrimeena

Sahih International:

Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them, [for] indeed, they were criminals.

Surah [50] Qaf : 14
ARBNDEENIDTRUR

وَّاَصۡحٰبُ الۡاَيۡكَةِ وَقَوۡمُ تُبَّعٍ‌ؕ كُلٌّ كَذَّبَ الرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ وَعِيۡدِ(ق :14)

وَأَصْحَٰبُ
And (the) companions
ٱلْأَيْكَةِ
(of) the wood
وَقَوْمُ
and (the) people
تُبَّعٍۚ
(of) Tubba
كُلٌّ
All
كَذَّبَ
denied
ٱلرُّسُلَ
the Messengers
فَحَقَّ
so was fulfilled
وَعِيدِ
My Threat

Waashabu alaykati waqawmu tubba'in kullun kaththaba alrrusula fahaqqa wa'eedi

Sahih International:

And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled.
