لَا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ اللّٰهُ بِاللَّغۡوِ فِىۡٓ اَيۡمَانِكُمۡ وَلٰـكِنۡ يُّؤَاخِذُكُمۡ بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ قُلُوۡبُكُمۡؕ وَاللّٰهُ غَفُوۡرٌ حَلِيۡمٌ(البقرة :225)
لَّا
Not
يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ
will take you to task
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
بِٱللَّغْوِ
for (what is) unintentional
فِىٓ
in
أَيْمَٰنِكُمْ
your oaths
وَلَٰكِن
[and] but
يُؤَاخِذُكُم
He takes you to task
بِمَا
for what
كَسَبَتْ
(have) earned
قُلُوبُكُمْۗ
your hearts
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
غَفُورٌ
(is) Oft-Forgiving
حَلِيمٌ
Most Forbearing
La yuakhithukumu Allahu biallaghwi fee aymanikum walakin yuakhithukum bima kasabat quloobukum waAllahu ghafoorun haleemun
Sahih International:
Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.
