Surah [5] Al-Ma'ida : 111

وَ اِذۡ اَوۡحَيۡتُ اِلَى الۡحَـوَارِيّٖنَ اَنۡ اٰمِنُوۡا بِىۡ وَبِرَسُوۡلِىۡ‌ۚ قَالُوۡۤا اٰمَنَّا وَاشۡهَدۡ بِاَنَّـنَا مُسۡلِمُوۡنَ‏(المائدة :111)

وَإِذْ
And when
أَوْحَيْتُ
I inspired
إِلَى
to
ٱلْحَوَارِيِّۦنَ
the disciples
أَنْ
to
ءَامِنُوا۟
believe
بِى
in Me
وَبِرَسُولِى
and in My Messenger
قَالُوٓا۟
they said
ءَامَنَّا
"We believe
وَٱشْهَدْ
and bear witness
بِأَنَّنَا
that indeed we
مُسْلِمُونَ
(are) Muslims

Waith awhaytu ila alhawariyyeena an aminoo bee wabirasoolee qaloo amanna waishhad biannana muslimoona

Sahih International:

And [remember] when I inspired to the disciples, "Believe in Me and in My messenger Jesus." They said, "We have believed, so bear witness that indeed we are Muslims [in submission to Allah ]."

Surah [6] Al-An'am : 93

وَمَنۡ اَظۡلَمُ مِمَّنِ افۡتَـرٰى عَلَى اللّٰهِ كَذِبًا اَوۡ قَالَ اُوۡحِىَ اِلَىَّ وَلَمۡ يُوۡحَ اِلَيۡهِ شَىۡءٌ وَّمَنۡ قَالَ سَاُنۡزِلُ مِثۡلَ مَاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰهُ‌ؕ وَلَوۡ تَرٰٓى اِذِ الظّٰلِمُوۡنَ فِىۡ غَمَرٰتِ الۡمَوۡتِ وَالۡمَلٰٓٮِٕكَةُ بَاسِطُوۡۤا اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ‌ۚ اَخۡرِجُوۡۤا اَنۡفُسَكُمُ‌ؕ اَلۡيَوۡمَ تُجۡزَوۡنَ عَذَابَ الۡهُوۡنِ بِمَا كُنۡتُمۡ تَقُوۡلُوۡنَ عَلَى اللّٰهِ غَيۡرَ الۡحَـقِّ وَكُنۡتُمۡ عَنۡ اٰيٰتِهٖ تَسۡتَكۡبِرُوۡنَ (الأنعام :93)

وَمَنْ
And who
أَظْلَمُ
(is) more unjust
مِمَّنِ
than (one) who
ٱفْتَرَىٰ
invents
عَلَى
about
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
كَذِبًا
a lie
أَوْ
or
قَالَ
said
أُوحِىَ
"It has been inspired
إِلَىَّ
to me"
وَلَمْ
while not
يُوحَ
it was inspired
إِلَيْهِ
to him
شَىْءٌ
anything
وَمَن
and (one) who
قَالَ
said
سَأُنزِلُ
"I will reveal
مِثْلَ
like
مَآ
what
أَنزَلَ
(has been) revealed"
ٱللَّهُۗ
(by) Allah"
وَلَوْ
And if
تَرَىٰٓ
you (could) see
إِذِ
when
ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ
the wrongdoers
فِى
(are) in
غَمَرَٰتِ
agonies
ٱلْمَوْتِ
(of) [the] death
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ
while the Angels
بَاسِطُوٓا۟
(are) stretching out
أَيْدِيهِمْ
their hands (saying)
أَخْرِجُوٓا۟
"Discharge
أَنفُسَكُمُۖ
your souls!
ٱلْيَوْمَ
Today
تُجْزَوْنَ
you will be recompensed
عَذَابَ
(with) punishment
ٱلْهُونِ
humiliating
بِمَا
because
كُنتُمْ
you used to
تَقُولُونَ
say
عَلَى
against
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
غَيْرَ
other than
ٱلْحَقِّ
the truth
وَكُنتُمْ
and you were
عَنْ
towards
ءَايَٰتِهِۦ
His Verses
تَسْتَكْبِرُونَ
being arrogant"

Waman athlamu mimmani iftara 'ala Allahi kathiban aw qala oohiya ilayya walam yooha ilayhi shayon waman qala saonzilu mithla ma anzala Allahu walaw tara ithi alththalimoona fee ghamarati almawti waalmalaikatu basitoo aydeehim akhrijoo anfusakumu alyawma tujzawna 'athaba alhooni bima kuntum taqooloona 'ala Allahi ghayra alhaqqi wakuntum 'an ayatihi tastakbiroona

Sahih International:

And who is more unjust than one who invents a lie about Allah or says, "It has been inspired to me," while nothing has been inspired to him, and one who says, "I will reveal [something] like what Allah revealed." And if you could but see when the wrongdoers are in the overwhelming pangs of death while the angels extend their hands, [saying], "Discharge your souls! Today you will be awarded the punishment of [extreme] humiliation for what you used to say against Allah other than the truth and [that] you were, toward His verses, being arrogant."

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [10] Yunus : 109

وَاتَّبِعۡ مَا يُوۡحٰۤى اِلَيۡكَ وَاصۡبِرۡ حَتّٰى يَحۡكُمَ اللّٰهُ‌‌ ۖۚ وَهُوَ خَيۡرُ الۡحٰكِمِيۡنَ(يونس :109)

وَٱتَّبِعْ
And follow
مَا
what
يُوحَىٰٓ
is revealed
إِلَيْكَ
to you
وَٱصْبِرْ
and be patient
حَتَّىٰ
until
يَحْكُمَ
Allah gives judgment
ٱللَّهُۚ
Allah gives judgment
وَهُوَ
And He
خَيْرُ
(is) the Best
ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ
(of) the Judges

Waittabi' ma yooha ilayka waisbir hatta yahkuma Allahu wahuwa khayru alhakimeena

Sahih International:

And follow what is revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and be patient until Allah will judge. And He is the best of judges.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [10] Yunus : 2

اَكَانَ لِلنَّاسِ عَجَبًا اَنۡ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلٰى رَجُلٍ مِّنۡهُمۡ اَنۡ اَنۡذِرِ النَّاسَ وَبَشِّرِ الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡۤا اَنَّ لَهُمۡ قَدَمَ صِدۡقٍ عِنۡدَ رَبِّهِمۡ ؕ قَالَ الۡكٰفِرُوۡنَ اِنَّ هٰذَا لَسٰحِرٌ مُّبِيۡنٌ‏(يونس :2)

أَكَانَ
Is it
لِلنَّاسِ
for the mankind
عَجَبًا
a wonder
أَنْ
that
أَوْحَيْنَآ
We revealed
إِلَىٰ
to
رَجُلٍ
a man
مِّنْهُمْ
from (among) them
أَنْ
that
أَنذِرِ
"Warn
ٱلنَّاسَ
the mankind
وَبَشِّرِ
and give glad tidings
ٱلَّذِينَ
(to) those who
ءَامَنُوٓا۟
believe
أَنَّ
that
لَهُمْ
for them
قَدَمَ
(will be) a respectable position
صِدْقٍ
(will be) a respectable position
عِندَ
near
رَبِّهِمْۗ
their Lord?"
قَالَ
Said
ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
the disbelievers
إِنَّ
"Indeed
هَٰذَا
this
لَسَٰحِرٌ
(is) surely a magician
مُّبِينٌ
obvious"

Akana lilnnasi 'ajaban an awhayna ila rajulin minhum an anthiri alnnasa wabashshiri allatheena amanoo anna lahum qadama sidqin 'inda rabbihim qala alkafiroona inna hatha lasahirun mubeenun

Sahih International:

Have the people been amazed that We revealed [revelation] to a man from among them, [saying], "Warn mankind and give good tidings to those who believe that they will have a [firm] precedence of honor with their Lord"? [But] the disbelievers say, "Indeed, this is an obvious magician."

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [12] Yusuf : 102

ذٰلِكَ مِنۡ اَنۡۢبَآءِ الۡغَيۡبِ نُوۡحِيۡهِ اِلَيۡكَ‌ۚ وَمَا كُنۡتَ لَدَيۡهِمۡ اِذۡ اَجۡمَعُوۡۤا اَمۡرَهُمۡ وَهُمۡ يَمۡكُرُوۡنَ(يوسف :102)

ذَٰلِكَ
That
مِنْ
(is) from
أَنۢبَآءِ
the news
ٱلْغَيْبِ
(of) the unseen
نُوحِيهِ
which We reveal
إِلَيْكَۖ
to you
وَمَا
And not
كُنتَ
you were
لَدَيْهِمْ
with them
إِذْ
when
أَجْمَعُوٓا۟
they put together
أَمْرَهُمْ
their plan
وَهُمْ
while they
يَمْكُرُونَ
(were) plotting

Thalika min anbai alghaybi nooheehi ilayka wama kunta ladayhim ith ajma'oo amrahum wahum yamkuroona

Sahih International:

That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal, [O Muhammad], to you. And you were not with them when they put together their plan while they conspired.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [17] Al-Isra' : 86

وَلَٮِٕنۡ شِئۡنَا لَنَذۡهَبَنَّ بِالَّذِىۡۤ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ ثُمَّ لَا تَجِدُ لَـكَ بِهٖ عَلَيۡنَا وَكِيۡلًا(الإسراء :86)

وَلَئِن
And if
شِئْنَا
We willed
لَنَذْهَبَنَّ
We (would) have surely taken away
بِٱلَّذِىٓ
that which
أَوْحَيْنَآ
We have revealed
إِلَيْكَ
to you
ثُمَّ
Then
لَا
not
تَجِدُ
you would find
لَكَ
for you
بِهِۦ
concerning it
عَلَيْنَا
against Us
وَكِيلًا
any advocate

Walain shina lanathhabanna biallathee awhayna ilayka thumma la tajidu laka bihi 'alayna wakeelan

Sahih International:

And if We willed, We could surely do away with that which We revealed to you. Then you would not find for yourself concerning it an advocate against Us.

Surah [40] Al-Mu'min : 15

رَفِيۡعُ الدَّرَجٰتِ ذُو الۡعَرۡشِ‌ ۚ يُلۡقِى الرُّوۡحَ مِنۡ اَمۡرِهٖ عَلٰى مَنۡ يَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِهٖ لِيُنۡذِرَ يَوۡمَ التَّلَاقِ(غافر :15)

رَفِيعُ
Possessor of the Highest Ranks
ٱلدَّرَجَٰتِ
Possessor of the Highest Ranks
ذُو
Owner (of) the Throne
ٱلْعَرْشِ
Owner (of) the Throne
يُلْقِى
He places
ٱلرُّوحَ
the inspiration
مِنْ
by
أَمْرِهِۦ
His Command
عَلَىٰ
upon
مَن
whom
يَشَآءُ
He wills
مِنْ
of
عِبَادِهِۦ
His slaves
لِيُنذِرَ
to warn
يَوْمَ
(of the) Day
ٱلتَّلَاقِ
(of) the Meeting

Rafee'u alddarajati thoo al'arshi yulqee alrrooha min amrihi 'ala man yashao min 'ibadihi liyunthira yawma alttalaqi

Sahih International:

[He is] the Exalted above [all] degrees, Owner of the Throne; He places the inspiration of His command upon whom He wills of His servants to warn of the Day of Meeting.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [42] Ash-Shura : 3

كَذٰلِكَ يُوۡحِىۡۤ اِلَيۡكَ وَاِلَى الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَۙ اللّٰهُ الۡعَزِيۡزُ الۡحَكِيۡمُ(الشورى :3)

كَذَٰلِكَ
Thus
يُوحِىٓ
reveals
إِلَيْكَ
to you
وَإِلَى
and to
ٱلَّذِينَ
those
مِن
before you
قَبْلِكَ
before you
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمُ
the All-Wise

Kathalika yoohee ilayka waila allatheena min qablika Allahu al'azeezu alhakeemu

Sahih International:

Thus has He revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and to those before you - Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [42] Ash-Shura : 51

وَمَا كَانَ لِبَشَرٍ اَنۡ يُّكَلِّمَهُ اللّٰهُ اِلَّا وَحۡيًا اَوۡ مِنۡ وَّرَآىٴِ حِجَابٍ اَوۡ يُرۡسِلَ رَسُوۡلًا فَيُوۡحِىَ بِاِذۡنِهٖ مَا يَشَآءُ‌ؕ اِنَّهٗ عَلِىٌّ حَكِيۡمٌ(الشورى :51)

وَمَا
And not
كَانَ
is
لِبَشَرٍ
for any human
أَن
that
يُكَلِّمَهُ
Allah should speak to him
ٱللَّهُ
Allah should speak to him
إِلَّا
except
وَحْيًا
(by) revelation
أَوْ
or
مِن
from
وَرَآئِ
behind
حِجَابٍ
a veil
أَوْ
or
يُرْسِلَ
(by) sending
رَسُولًا
a Messenger
فَيُوحِىَ
then he reveals
بِإِذْنِهِۦ
by His permission
مَا
what
يَشَآءُۚ
He wills
إِنَّهُۥ
Indeed, He
عَلِىٌّ
(is) Most High
حَكِيمٌ
Most Wise

Wama kana libasharin an yukallimahu Allahu illa wahyan aw min warai hijabin aw yursila rasoolan fayoohiya biithnihi ma yashao innahu 'aliyyun hakeemun

Sahih International:

And it is not for any human being that Allah should speak to him except by revelation or from behind a partition or that He sends a messenger to reveal, by His permission, what He wills. Indeed, He is Most High and Wise.

Tafsir (More Translations)
Surah [42] Ash-Shura : 52

وَكَذٰلِكَ اَوۡحَيۡنَاۤ اِلَيۡكَ رُوۡحًا مِّنۡ اَمۡرِنَا‌ ؕ مَا كُنۡتَ تَدۡرِىۡ مَا الۡكِتٰبُ وَلَا الۡاِيۡمَانُ وَلٰـكِنۡ جَعَلۡنٰهُ نُوۡرًا نَّهۡدِىۡ بِهٖ مَنۡ نَّشَآءُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا‌ ؕ وَاِنَّكَ لَتَهۡدِىۡۤ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسۡتَقِيۡمٍۙ(الشورى :52)

وَكَذَٰلِكَ
And thus
أَوْحَيْنَآ
We have revealed
إِلَيْكَ
to you
رُوحًا
an inspiration
مِّنْ
by
أَمْرِنَاۚ
Our Command
مَا
Not
كُنتَ
did you
تَدْرِى
know
مَا
what
ٱلْكِتَٰبُ
the Book (is)
وَلَا
and not
ٱلْإِيمَٰنُ
the faith
وَلَٰكِن
But
جَعَلْنَٰهُ
We have made it
نُورًا
a light
نَّهْدِى
We guide
بِهِۦ
with it
مَن
whom
نَّشَآءُ
We will
مِنْ
of
عِبَادِنَاۚ
Our slaves
وَإِنَّكَ
And indeed you
لَتَهْدِىٓ
surely guide
إِلَىٰ
to
صِرَٰطٍ
(the) path
مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
straight

Wakathalika awhayna ilayka roohan min amrina ma kunta tadree ma alkitabu wala aleemanu walakin ja'alnahu nooran nahdee bihi man nashao min 'ibadina wainnaka latahdee ila siratin mustaqeemin

Sahih International:

And thus We have revealed to you an inspiration of Our command. You did not know what is the Book or [what is] faith, but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, [O Muhammad], you guide to a straight path -
