وَلِلّٰهِ يَسْجُدُ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِ مِنْ دَاۤبَّةٍ وَّالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُوْنَ ( النحل: ٤٩ )
Wa lillaahi yasjudu maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardi min daaabbatinw walma laaa'ikatu wa hum laa yastakbiroon (an-Naḥl 16:49)
English Sahih:
And to Allah prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth of creatures, and the angels [as well], and they are not arrogant. (An-Nahl [16] : 49)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
വിണ്ണിലും മണ്ണിലുമുള്ള ജീവികളൊക്കെയും അല്ലാഹുവിന് പ്രണാമമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു. മലക്കുകള്‍പോലും താന്‍പോരിമ നടിക്കാതെ അവനെ പ്രണമിക്കുന്നു. (അന്നഹ്ല്‍ [16] : 49)

ആകാശങ്ങളിലുള്ളതും ഭൂമിയിലുള്ളതുമായ ഏതൊരു ജീവിയും അല്ലാഹുവിന് സുജൂദ് ചെയ്യുന്നു.[1] മലക്കുകളും (സുജൂദ് ചെയ്യുന്നു.) അവര്‍ അഹങ്കാരം നടിക്കുന്നില്ല.
[1] ആകാശത്ത് നാലു വിരലുകൾ വെക്കാനാവുന്ന സ്ഥലമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ അവിടെ അല്ലാഹുവിന് സുജൂദ് ചെയ്യുന്ന മലക്കുണ്ട് എന്ന് ഹദീഥുകളിൽ കാണാം.
