كَانَ النَّاسُ اُمَّةً وَّاحِدَةً ۗ فَبَعَثَ اللّٰهُ النَّبِيّٖنَ مُبَشِّرِيْنَ وَمُنْذِرِيْنَ ۖ وَاَنْزَلَ مَعَهُمُ الْكِتٰبَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ فِيْمَا اخْتَلَفُوْا فِيْهِ ۗ وَمَا اخْتَلَفَ فِيْهِ اِلَّا الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوْهُ مِنْۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَاۤءَتْهُمُ الْبَيِّنٰتُ بَغْيًا ۢ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ فَهَدَى اللّٰهُ الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لِمَا اخْتَلَفُوْا فِيْهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِاِذْنِهٖ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ يَهْدِيْ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ اِلٰى صِرَاطٍ مُّسْتَقِيْمٍ ( البقرة: ٢١٣ )
Kaanan naasu ummatanw waahidatan fab'asal laahun Nabiyyeena mubashshireena wa munzireena wa anzala ma'ahumul kitaaba bilhaqqi liyahkuma bainan naasi feemakh talafoo feeh; wa makh talafa feehi 'illallazeena ootoohu mim ba'di maa jaaa'athumul baiyinaatu baghyam bainahm fahadal laahul lazeena aamanoo limakh talafoo feehi minal haqqi bi iznih; wallaahu yahdee mai yashaaa'u ilaa Siraatim Mustaqeem (al-Baq̈arah 2:213)
English Sahih:
Mankind was [of] one religion [before their deviation]; then Allah sent the prophets as bringers of good tidings and warners and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between the people concerning that in which they differed. And none differed over it [i.e., the Scripture] except those who were given it – after the clear proofs came to them – out of jealous animosity among themselves. And Allah guided those who believed to the truth concerning that over which they had differed, by His permission. And Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 213)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
മനുഷ്യരാശി ഒരൊറ്റ സമുദായമായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട് ശുഭവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുന്നവരും മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് നല്കുന്നവരുമായി അല്ലാഹു പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ നിയോഗിച്ചു. ജനങ്ങള്ക്കിടയില് അഭിപ്രായ വ്യത്യാസമുള്ള കാര്യങ്ങളില് തീര്പ്പുകല്പിക്കാനായി അവരോടൊപ്പം സത്യവേദ പുസ്തകവും അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. വേദം ലഭിച്ചവര് തന്നെയാണ് വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകള് വന്നെത്തിയശേഷവും അതില് ഭിന്നിച്ചത്. അവര്ക്കിടയിലെ കിടമത്സരം കാരണമാണത്. എന്നാല് സത്യവിശ്വാസികളെ ജനം ഭിന്നിച്ചകന്നുപോയ സത്യത്തിലേക്ക് അല്ലാഹു തന്റെ ഹിതമനുസരിച്ച് വഴിനടത്തി. അല്ലാഹു അവനിച്ഛിക്കുന്നവരെ നേര്വഴിയിലേക്കു നയിക്കുന്നു. (അല്ബഖറ [2] : 213)
1 Abdul Hameed/Parappoor (അബ്ദുല് ഹമീദ് & പറപ്പൂര്)
മനുഷ്യര് ഒരൊറ്റ സമുദായമായിരുന്നു. അനന്തരം (അവര് ഭിന്നിച്ചപ്പോള് വിശ്വാസികള്ക്ക്) സന്തോഷവാര്ത്ത അറിയിക്കുവാനും, (നിഷേധികള്ക്ക്) താക്കീത് നല്കുവാനുമായി അല്ലാഹു പ്രവാചകന്മാരെ നിയോഗിച്ചു. അവര് (ജനങ്ങള്) ഭിന്നിച്ച വിഷയത്തില് തീര്പ്പുകല്പിക്കുവാനായി അവരുടെ കൂടെ സത്യവേദവും അവന് അയച്ചുകൊടുത്തു. എന്നാല് വേദം നല്കപ്പെട്ടവര് തന്നെ വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകള് വന്നുകിട്ടിയതിനു ശേഷം അതില് (വേദവിഷയത്തില്) ഭിന്നിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത് അവര് തമ്മിലുള്ള മാത്സര്യം മൂലമല്ലാതെ മറ്റൊന്നുകൊണ്ടുമല്ല. എന്നാല് ഏതൊരു സത്യത്തില് നിന്ന് അവര് ഭിന്നിച്ചകന്നുവോ ആ സത്യത്തിലേക്ക് അല്ലാഹു തൻ്റെ താല്പര്യപ്രകാരം സത്യവിശ്വാസികള്ക്ക് വഴി കാണിച്ചു. താന് ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നവരെ അല്ലാഹു ശരിയായ പാതയിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നു.
