ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْدِ ذٰلِكَ فَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللّٰهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهٗ لَكُنْتُمْ مِّنَ الْخٰسِرِيْنَ ( البقرة: ٦٤ )
thumma tawallaytum
ثُمَّ تَوَلَّيْتُم
Then you turned away
പിന്നെ നിങ്ങള് തിരിഞ്ഞു കളഞ്ഞു
min baʿdi dhālika
مِّنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَۖ
from after that
അതിന് ശേഷം
falawlā
فَلَوْلَا
So if not
എന്നാല് ഇല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കില്
faḍlu l-lahi
فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ
(for the) Grace (of) Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ദയ അനുഗ്രഹം
ʿalaykum
عَلَيْكُمْ
upon you
നിങ്ങളുടെ മേല്
waraḥmatuhu
وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ
and His Mercy
അവന്റെ കാരുണ്യവും
lakuntum
لَكُنتُم
surely you would have been
നിങ്ങള് ആയിരിക്കുക തന്നെ ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു
mina l-khāsirīna
مِّنَ ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَ
of the losers
നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടവരില്
Summa tawallaitum mim ba'di zaalika falawlaa fadlul laahi 'alaikum wa rahmatuhoo lakuntum minal khaasireen (al-Baq̈arah 2:64)
English Sahih:
Then you turned away after that. And if not for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, you would have been among the losers. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 64)

എന്നാല് പിന്നെയും നിങ്ങള് പുറംതിരിഞ്ഞു. നിങ്ങള്ക്ക് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹവും കാരുണ്യവും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നെങ്കില് നിങ്ങള് നഷ്ടം പറ്റിയവരാകുമായിരുന്നു. (അല്ബഖറ [2] : 64)
