اِذْ قَالَ لِاَبِيْهِ وَقَوْمِهٖ مَا هٰذِهِ التَّمَاثِيْلُ الَّتِيْٓ اَنْتُمْ لَهَا عَاكِفُوْنَ ( الأنبياء: ٥٢ )

إِذْ قَالَ
When he said
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞപ്പോള്, ചോദിച്ചപ്പോള്
li-abīhi
لِأَبِيهِ
to his father
തന്റെ പിതാവിനോട്
waqawmihi
وَقَوْمِهِۦ
and his people
തന്റെ ജനങ്ങളോടും
mā hādhihi l-tamāthīlu
مَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلتَّمَاثِيلُ
"What (are) these [the] statues
ഈ പ്രതിമകള് (രൂപങ്ങള്) എന്താണ്
allatī
ٱلَّتِىٓ
which
യാതൊരു (പ്രതിമകള്)
antum lahā
أَنتُمْ لَهَا
you to it
നിങ്ങള് അതിനു
ʿākifūna
عَٰكِفُونَ
(are) devoted?"
ഭജനമിരിക്കുന്നവരാണ്
Iz qaala li abeehi wa qawmihee maa haazihit tamaaseelul lateee antum lahee 'aakifoon (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:52)
English Sahih:
When he said to his father and his people, "What are these statues to which you are devoted?" (Al-Anbya [21] : 52)

അദ്ദേഹം തന്റെ പിതാവിനോടും ജനത്തോടും ചോദിച്ചതോര്ക്കുക: ''നിങ്ങള് പൂജിക്കുന്ന ഈ പ്രതിഷ്ഠകള് എന്താണ്?'' (അല്അമ്പിയാഅ് [21] : 52)
