يَوْمَ تَرَوْنَهَا تَذْهَلُ كُلُّ مُرْضِعَةٍ عَمَّآ اَرْضَعَتْ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكٰرٰى وَمَا هُمْ بِسُكٰرٰى وَلٰكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللّٰهِ شَدِيْدٌ ( الحج: ٢ )
Yawma tarawnahaa tazhalu kullu murdi'atin 'ammaaa arda'at wa tada'u kullu zaati hamlin hamlahaa wa tarannaasa sukaaraa wa maa hum bisukaaraa wa lakinaa 'azaabal laahi shadeed (al-Ḥajj 22:2)
English Sahih:
On the Day you see it every nursing mother will be distracted from that [child] she was nursing, and every pregnant woman will abort her pregnancy, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allah is severe. (Al-Hajj [22] : 2)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നിങ്ങളതു കാണുംനാളിലെ അവസ്ഥയോ; മുലയൂട്ടുന്ന മാതാക്കള് തങ്ങളുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ മറക്കും. ഗര്ഭിണികള് പ്രസവിച്ചുപോകും. ജനങ്ങളെ ലഹരിബാധിതരെപ്പോലെ നിനക്കന്ന് കാണാം. യഥാര്ഥത്തിലവര് ലഹരിബാധിതരല്ല. എന്നാല് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ അത്രമാത്രം ഘോരമായിരിക്കും. (അല്ഹജ്ജ് [22] : 2)

നിങ്ങള് അത് കാണുന്ന ദിവസം ഏതൊരു മുലകൊടുക്കുന്ന മാതാവും താന് മുലയൂട്ടുന്ന കുഞ്ഞിനെപ്പറ്റി അശ്രദ്ധയിലായിപ്പോകും. ഏതൊരു ഗർഭിണിയും തന്റെ ഗര്ഭത്തിലുള്ളത് പ്രസവിച്ചു പോകുകയും ചെയ്യും. ജനങ്ങളെ മത്തുപിടിച്ചവരായി നിനക്ക് കാണുകയും ചെയ്യാം. (യഥാര്ത്ഥത്തില്) അവര് ലഹരി ബാധിച്ചവരല്ല.[1] പക്ഷെ, അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ശിക്ഷ കഠിനമാകുന്നു.
[1] ലഹരിയല്ല, ഭയവിഹ്വലതയാണ് അവരെ ഉന്മത്തരാക്കിത്തീര്ക്കുന്നത്.
