اَفَلَمْ يَدَّبَّرُوا الْقَوْلَ اَمْ جَاۤءَهُمْ مَّا لَمْ يَأْتِ اٰبَاۤءَهُمُ الْاَوَّلِيْنَ ۖ ( المؤمنون: ٦٨ )
Afalam yaddabbarrul qawla am jaaa'ahum maa lam yaati aabaaa'ahumul awwaleen (al-Muʾminūn 23:68)
English Sahih:
Then have they not reflected over the word [i.e., the Quran], or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? (Al-Mu'minun [23] : 68)

അവര്‍ ഈ വചനത്തെപ്പറ്റി തെല്ലും ചിന്തിച്ചുനോക്കിയിട്ടില്ലേ? അതല്ല; അവരുടെ പൂര്‍വ പിതാക്കള്‍ക്ക് വന്നെത്തിയിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഒന്നാണോ ഇവര്‍ക്ക് വന്നുകിട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നത്? (അല്‍മുഅ്മിനൂന്‍ [23] : 68)

ഈ വാക്കിനെ(ഖുര്‍ആനിനെ)പ്പറ്റി അവര്‍ ആലോചിച്ച് നോക്കിയിട്ടില്ലേ? അതല്ല, അവരുടെ പൂര്‍വ്വപിതാക്കള്‍ക്ക് വന്നിട്ടില്ലാത്ത ഒരു കാര്യമാണോ അവര്‍ക്ക് വന്നുകിട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നത്?[1]
[1] വേദവും പ്രവാചകനിയോഗവുമൊക്കെ അറബികള്‍ക്ക് സുപരിചിതമായ യാഥാര്‍ത്ഥ്യങ്ങള്‍ തന്നെയായിരുന്നു.
