اِذْ تَلَقَّوْنَهٗ بِاَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَتَقُوْلُوْنَ بِاَفْوَاهِكُمْ مَّا لَيْسَ لَكُمْ بِهٖ عِلْمٌ وَّتَحْسَبُوْنَهٗ هَيِّنًاۙ وَّهُوَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ عَظِيْمٌ ۚ ( النور: ١٥ )
iz talaqqawnahoo bi alsinatikum wa taqooloona bi afwaahikum maa laisa lakum bihee 'ilmunw wa tahsaboo nahoo haiyinanw wa huwa 'indl laahi 'azeem (an-Nūr 24:15)
English Sahih:
When you received it with your tongues and said with your mouths that of which you had no knowledge and thought it was insignificant while it was, in the sight of Allah, tremendous. (An-Nur [24] : 15)

നിങ്ങള് ഈ അപവാദം നിങ്ങളുടെ നാവുകൊണ്ട് ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞു. നിങ്ങള്ക്കറിയാത്ത കാര്യങ്ങള് നിങ്ങളുടെ വായകൊണ്ടു പറഞ്ഞുപരത്തി. അപ്പോള് നിങ്ങളത് നന്നെ നിസ്സാരമാണെന്നുകരുതി. എന്നാല് അല്ലാഹുവിങ്കലത് അത്യന്തം ഗുരുതരമായ കാര്യമാണ്. (അന്നൂര് [24] : 15)
